I was super happy at first, because the lamps are light and open like an umbrella (very comfortable). But one of the lamps stopped working after a month. Initially I thought it was the bulb that stopped working but after checking and replacing the bulb it turned out that it was the lamp. I am super disappointed and upset.

Price when reviewed: £ 59.99. This Neewer softbox lighting kit comes with everything you’ll need to get started. A multi-section light stand, 35W LED lamp, lamp holder / reflector with long mains cable and inline on/off switch, light diffuser material, and multi-language instruction leaflet. Assembly is straightforward and I didn’t need to refer to the instructions to do so. I found putting the four corners of the diffuser on the softbox first made things easier. The four edges of the diffuser are then held in place with Velcro. In use the lighting kit produces a nice even bright light which I found ideal for product and studio photography. The light stand can be adjusted for height and the always stayed in position without slipping. The lamp holder can be adjusted but the softbox does prevent it being angled straight down. I found that removing the diffuser and bouncing the light off a white ceiling also worked well. This is my first softbox lighting kit so have no experience of them to reference against. However, that said, I am really pleased with this kit and I’m happy to recommend it. The only negative I have is the plug is supplied with a 13amp fuse which I would recommend being replaced with a 3amp fuse before use.
