ESV Large Print Value Thinline Bible

Beautiful design Bible. Gorgeous colour and good size print, so easy to read. Very soft to hold. I love it.

Update: Wording is a comfortable size with my reading glasses. All seems good quality. I'm just beginning my journey on the road to Christ. A perfect choice for a novice.

Oh where to start it’s so beautifullll🥹 the deep ness of the purple is exactly what I wanted. It’s stunning and the writing is the perfect size not too big not too small. The quality of leather is way better than I expected it to be and the details on it just makes it stand out it’s beautiful. I recommend 100%.

This is a lovely book the cover looks so much nicer than in the picture, it is easy to read as the print is quite large , I'm pleased I chose this one. I can't compare to any other bible as this is the only one I've bought.

I'm reviewing this particular edition, not the bible! There's a preface with a very clear explanation of the approach to translation taken to arrive at the ESV. I chose the purple cover, it's very attractive and feels really nice to hold. I think it could easily get marked if reading with unclean hands, though. Crossway guarantee this bible will last a lifetime without failure due to manufacturing defects "during normal use". It looks and feels very well made and has sewn binding. As always with the bible there has to be a trade-off between paper thickness and portability. The paper is very lightweight, so I doubt it would withstand being thrown about thoughtlessly on a regular basis. Nevertheless it feels pretty sturdy. It came in quite a thick card sleeve and I am choosing to keep it in that as long as possible, for an extra bit of protection. My favourite things are the print size and clear font, they make it so easy and enjoyable to read, without losing the sense of history about the original and ancient texts. There are comprehensive footnotes to clarify terms and reference why certain words were chosen as the best translation in the context. There's a "weights, measures and monetary units" section at the back and an index. I'm very happy to have chosen this version, I feel that with a little care it will last a very long time, it looks lovely and most importantly the way the text is presented makes it easy to read and understand.

So happy to finally have found a bible easy to read and understand. The design on it is beautiful. My 6 year old saw it and was mesmerised. The design is actually embossed and feels amazing, the colour is gorgeous too. So happy with this, and it's was the best product for the best price. Highly recommend this. Was delivered quickly too. The print is good. I love it.

I love this Bible! The color is incredible - just what I was wanting. And the print size works well for me. I have noticed, though, that the paper is quite thin so when I highlight something, it does bleed through a bit onto the other side of the page. The price was really good, compared to other Bibles I had been looking at and I am very happy with it!

Love this Bible. The design and colour are gorgeous. The large print is perfect as I get older and the pages feel sturdy like they won’t tear by accident. The size is perfect and this will be my new Bible to bring with me to church.
