The Essential Small Faces

Brilliant music. Arrived on time. Very pleased with my purchase

Was hesitant to buy as 3cd set may have been the sort you drag through if some dull tracks . I have Autumn Stone CD containing most recognised stuff, but for unknown reason has blanked in player and computer.. so purchased this after consideration of other Small Faces offerings. I made the right choice I'm sure. It is top stuff from start to finish and sound quality not an issue. Recommend at the very reasonable cost .

Great band of rnb music from the sixties.

The best Small Faces comp yet. Three discs. The first two concentrate on the Decca period and the third on the Immediate years. They certainly were a very productive hand in the few years they were together. All the songs are more or less in order so you can hear how they progressed with their songs. Listening to them today you realise what an influence they were on future British bands. The sound quality on these cds is excellent. The packaging isn't bad for the price. Essential music.

Had all the smash hits and more

Always loved the small faces since being a teenager. Their music never ages. A must for all small faces fans

Excellent cd

I don't know how the Small Faces managed to get by me all these years, and I am no expert on the group, but this compilation seems to be a good way to go as far as an overview. It seems to skim their entire career. The sound quality is very good, three cds are packaged in a foldout cardboard jacket that the CDs slip into, but keeps them protected. I like the material, which sounds very Brit-Pop and it is priced well. It sounds nothing like later Marriot Humble Pie stuff, but more like Beatles/Oasis, and I don't care much for Oasis, but I like this stuff. Recommended.

Groupe que j'ai redécouvert au travers des adaptations de Johnny Hallyday de "That Man" (Amen) et "My Way of Giving". Ce groupe a ensuite évolué sous le nom de "Humble Pie".
