Having a hard time deciding between paraffin and soy? Get the best of both worlds with IGI's 6006. IGI 6006 is designed to be a single pour container wax when used under favorable conditions. This paraffin/soy blend offers the fragrance throw and easy burning of paraffin, with the appealing look and usability of soy. This blend can hold 1 2/3 oz. of fragrance per pound (10%), and requires no additional additives - just add color and fragrance. Approximate ratio is 70% paraffin and 30% soy. Tops of candles come out so creamy and smooth it truly is a one pour wax for candle making. Holds a heavy scent load, (10%) with great CT/HT. When I first started working with this wax, I did have occasional sinkholes that I fixed easily with a heat gun. I live in Oklahoma where it is humid and found if I poured was between 135-145 F there were no sinkhole but just pure creamy white tops. I also found that you get a better hot throw if you let this wax sit for at least 5 days instead of just 24-48 hours. Will not buy any other.
