Good read, enjoyed watching the author in Stella, book took a good while to arrive but in good condition and a well written book up to now. Enjoying reading it.

Loved this story... easy read and also engaging. accomplished writer.

Too much jumping between times,akward sex scenes

I love Ruth Jones as an actor and as a writer. The book was a good read, I sat with it for hours, page turning and wanting to know what happens next. Cleverly woven together stories. I took one star off for a simple reason—at the end, I was left feeling a bit....off put. I don’t need a big bow wrap up of an ending. But when all said and done, I found it hard to like or sympathize with most of the characters. They simply weren’t the greatest people. And they destroyed two families, for what in the end? To not be together, so it wasn’t their great love story...and not sure most of them were that happy, with the exception of a couple of the secondary characters. I still love the writing, and Ruth, and the book—and the lesson I would have like to see come out of it is..the grass IS always greener. Where you water it. Still love you Ruth! Tidy.
