I did a ton of research before settling on these particular filters. I was primarily looking for something to use for welding and all the reviews vaguely indicated that this would work. I got a 3M half facepiece 7502 unit and added these filters and they perform very well. The whole contraption is comfortable enough without any major complaints other than sweating during really hot weather.The filters eliminate all welding odor. I tested this multiple times and have concluded that this the filter to use for welding and grinding of metal. I am amazed at the lack of odor entirely when welding or grinding. I am also having zero respiratory issues now that I use this filter religiously.This filter also has the added benefit of working with nasty paint odors. I used these when repainting my wrought iron railings and could not smell the super nasty paint at all. After a painting session, I had just cleaned up and put everything away, I removed the respirator and suddenly was hit with overpowering paint fumes. It took me a minute to realize it was from the stir paint stick next to the closed can. Again, I was further amazed that not a whiff of the fumes had made it through the filters during my intensive session of painting the actual fence outside. Completely impressed with these filters and their dual abilities for welding and painting fumes. Highly recommended!

Use them all the time. Only ones my husband uses

P100 protection level. Works for dust removal, sanding, grinding and welding. They are real 3M products. I wouldn't trust a cheap filter to protect my lungs. They even remove some smells.

These are genuine 3M P100 2097 filters. I received 2 pairs in the box (4 filters total). Each pair are individually sealed. After reading a few reviews I wasn’t sure exactly how many to expect. I purchased these early September 2024. The USE BY date is stamped 06/2027, which is great!

This was bought for various reasons including the intended use. I could use the typical cheap paper mask filters, but I prefer these high quality filters. I could get those other masks with NIOSH ratings of N95, N99, P99, but the P100 is the best and work the best. These also work great with the masks and quickly attach/de-attach.While they do a good job of blocking some smells, after a while they begin to smell odd themselves so replacing frequently is a must if that bothers you.

Fits respirator perfectly, Does a great job protecting from dust, mold and pollutants while cleaning and renovating 100 year old house!

I used it to apply polyurethane on some cabinets and could not smell anything

Ive seen alot of price-gouging online since the Coronavirus Pandemic started, and I know that filters like these are precious during this critical time. I have to wear a mask for long hours and before i was able to purchase these, I was using the HEAVY organic vapor cartridges with the N95 filters that lock onto the outside of them. The weight pf those filters is VERY fatiguing on my face and neck! The bridge of my nose has been sore and killing me. My neck has been aching so badly and I've been getting bad headaches.These P100's provide better protection than the N95,and since i they work on their own and don't need to be attached to a big heavy cartridge, my mask is much lighter and more comfortable!This is a fantastic product and I'd like to thank the seller too for charging retail price for this 2-pair pack! You are a lifesaver! I paid about $18 for for the box. Bout the same as I'd pay in Home Depot for them, give or take a dollar or two(if they had any available). If you're paying double that or more, you're being ripped off and you should report the seller.Thanks again for charging a fair price for a genuine product!
