I have found all the Amazon Basics Cables to be real winners with outstanding Quality and just all around best Cables money can buy. I only used this particular Cable briefly. I found that I didnt need that fancy extra GPU for my Computer so took out the GPU to use the Integrated Graphics instead which works much better on my Computer for my Digital Audio Workstation needs. But the mere fact that this Cable worked so well is what led me to remove that stupid big fancy expensive GPU and go with the Integrated Graphics which gives my Monitors a better picture and leaves me a lot more Computer Power for my Audio Software to do its thing. If you need this Cable certainly buy it! Its a good one.

Cables work as they should but buyer beware, these cables are THICK> I was truing to route two through the arms of a monitor stand and needed a second person to help smash these things into the slots of the arms while providing strain relief at the connection to the monitor. For comparison, these cables are as thick as a power cable for a power strip. I didn't read reviews thinking that what i currently had was considered thick, not even realizing that they could get thicker.

Don't waste your money on some name brand DP cable when they're built to the same spec. Probably even in the same factory. A cable is a cable don't let anyone fool you. Works exactly as intended, great price for a great product!
