Great for elderly.
This is wonderful. It allows us to set my father’s medication for a week without concern of him taking too much or too little, which happened in the past. It beeps when it’s time to take the medication, and he loves it so much easier than a traditional pillowcase and functionally. He doesn’t have to open anything with his arthritic hands. It also has a lock, so he can’t access the medication early. Great all the way around and his caretaker loves it. I highly highly recommend this if you have an elderly parent who is on consistent medication and having a difficult time with that timetable.

The best solution to dispense pills on time. Relief and peace of mind
My mom has some memory issues and it started to be challegining for her and us to keep the track of the medicines she must take, she was either taking double doses, not taking them at all or sometimes taking them some hours later than she should. Due to that, I started calling her on a daily basis at the time she had to get her pills but it was just as frustrating as stressful and nothing seemed to work properly until I found this device. It literally changed our lifes for good, it works perfectly, the alarm goes off at the correct time without missing a dose. The way this device is designed makes sure the person actually takes their medicines: it rotates delivering the pills at the right time without any room to fail, the person just have remove them from the dispenser by putting the device straight up, thats the only way the alarm turns off which is great because it reasures the mechanism. The only aspect that could be improved is the alarm volume that is a bit low at least for my mom but she has major hearing limitations, however she is by now, already well used to wait for her medicines and take them from it. It has given me the freedom and tranquility that I had lost before.

Works great, but BIG design flaw
So I love this thing, and it's been super helpful for the reasons I needed it. I kept taking the wrong meds at the wrong times and it was Bad, but with this I know I haven't taken my morning meds at night and have been much more consistent at the time I take the meds. BUT there is a major design flaw to this thing that, if you are buying this for an elderly loved one, will be a problem - if you keep it flipped upside down, the alarm will not sound. Neither will the light. It will rotate, and the meds will fall out if you have the door open, but no alert. This isn't a problem for me really, it's actually kind of nice when I know I won't be around for my alarm because of an early appointment, I just unlock and take out the dose, then flip it over so it doesn't bother my family. But if you are getting this for a loved one, and the alarm/light warning is the reason you are getting it? just be aware of this. Also, the lock can be finicky, but I haven't had any problems with it like others, so I just recommend being gentle. Setting the timers and filling the meds wasn't hard, so overall, I really like it, I just think it's important to know for others that leaving it flipped negates one it's main selling points.

Has been a real wife saver!
My wife takes several different kinds of pills/vitamins twice a day; once in the morning and once before bed. It became such a routine, and sometimes she was so tired in the morning or evening she would accidentally take the wrong pills, forget to take her pills, or take them twice. When that happened, it would have an extremely negative effect on her quality of life. After one recent week where the wrong medicine was take 4 times, I thought there must be a better solution out there! I found this, and several extremely similar products. This one was a lot cheaper than one of the other leading brands. I bought this one based on the lower price but was honestly surprised at the quality of the product and packaging. Everything feels very solid and high quality. Setting it up was easy, using the included instructions. Don't lose it because you may not be able to figure out how to change the clock and scheduled without it, it is not very intuitive. In our house, we don't use the audible alarm so I have it set to mute, but the beep is pretty loud. It is a very high-pitched beep, though, so someone with hearing loss might not be able to hear it. In our case, she doesn't need a reminder, but the fact that only the correct dose is available in the chamber at any given time has completely eliminated the problem of taking the wrong meds or taking it twice. She has forgotten a couple times, but even then at least we're able to see that and verify what happened and when it happened. To dispense the pills, you need to lift the entire unit upside-down and shake the pills out which can be a little awkward. A couple of times she missed one of the very tiny pills that didn't shake out and was not visible without standing over the hole and looking straight down into it. With my wife taking 2 doses daily, this machine holds a 2-week supply. It includes labeled "wheels" for different kinds of schedules. Overall I have no complaints, it has been well worth the money to reduce her suffering and simplify her daily routine!

Product worked great at first, but now 60 days later is not dispensing pills properly
We purchased this item and it worked great and we were very happy with it... for 2 months. But, now, even though we've replaced the batteries, double and triple checked the programming and even set the clock ahead to confirm it dispenses pills in a test, when we set the clock back and leave it, it seems to fall asleep and is not dispensing the pills. And, on top of that, the return window, which is only 30 days I believe has closed and it doesn't feel like Amazon or EziMed are going to honor any sort of warranty, so I can't recommend this product, as I believe anyone would expect for it to work for longer than 2 months.

Great product with Excellent Customer Support
We purchased this for managing my father's medications. It was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly. My dad accidentally threw away the box which contained the extra dosage rings, and when we reached out to the company they were very responsive and offered a great solution to get them quickly! Would definitely purchase again if I needed one for my mom.

Great product. Even better customer service! 👍🏻
My family has used automatic med dispensers for many years now, starting from when my children began taking medications on a daily basis. They are a great invention and if you don’t have one yet, get one! (Especially from this company, as I will detail below). My 17-year-old son’s previous med dispenser stopped turning after many years of use. While waiting for this new one, he would manually open the non-functioning dispenser’s lid to take his day or night meds, causing several medication mixups. When the new one arrived, I decided to lock it so that we wouldn’t have similar mixups. Unfortunately, I forgot to tell HIM that. He forced it open and broke off the little tab that keeps it locked (I also didn’t make sure that the lock was fully turned, so it wasn’t actually stable. Oops! See attached pictures). The way that this lid functions is with a springy suspension (press down to close, press down again to pop it open). When he would flip it to dispense his meds into his hands, the lid would pop open from the pressure. I messaged the seller to ask about purchasing a new lid. I received an almost immediate response and Wavin from EZMedPil assured me that he could help me. He sent me a video to ensure that I felt comfortable changing the lid on my own (it was super easy!) and then sent me a new lid free of charge. We were in constant contact for a couple of days to ensure that everything was correct and that I was happy. He was exceedingly polite and generous and sent me some other completely unexpected items to help me. I cannot recommend this company enough or give Wavin the thanks he deserves! More companies should stand behind their products and be willing to work with customers like this. The broken lid was completely OUR fault, but Wavin went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. Wavin and EZMedPil are the best!

Not suitable for Parkinson’s patients
I loved the idea of this, but the design did not work for me. I have Parkinson’s and need organization and reminders for my many medications. However, I found this very difficult to handle, considering my tremors, and the fact that it had to be turned upside down in order to get the pills out and stop the alarm. We returned it for a different style.
