I believe this skirt must be sized for a smaller population than those in the USA. I wear a size 12, and this skirt is very snug around the waist. The elastic in the waist was twisted when it arrived and I was unable to straighten it out. I will be returning the skirt. Other than that, it seemed to be a nice light-weight, denim-colored skirt.
