Footer Family Foot Measure

I originally purchased the Footer measuring devise several long weeks ago. I didn't expect it to be made of iron; obviously at the inexpensive price it is I could not fault it, however the slider broke off when I attempted to use it, so I pretty much trashed the item here. NOW FOR THE GOOD PART: I received a message from the company on a Sunday which I totally never expected to receive. I now recommend this company simply because of the better than imagined customer service. I told them I would be satisfied with the broken off part, and that is what I expected from them. Instead today I received a package with the the slider that broke off, but they also send me two entirely new devices. I have already used the broken one using a three by five card to measure my foot and place a pencil mark across the size. So even broken it worked and my new shoes fit perfectly. But really now--two entirely new packages? shipping free. That is $30.00 worth of product way above making me a customer, happy. Buyers can rest assured that this company is superb in customer service.

As I believe other reviewers have mentioned, the women's sizes are off by a whole number. Otherwise, this works great. I bought two for a project I run in Guatemala after some reviewers said that they are flimsy and break easily. I've measured at least 50 feet with the device, sometimes screaming and kicking children, and it hasn't broken at all. (I even accidentally launched it across the room the other day where it smacked my cement wall and then landed on my cement floor...oops. Hasn't broken yet.)

I loved the IDEA of this product. I NEEDED it desparately, as my girls grow out of sizes so quickly. The problem (that gets annoying really quickly) is that the measuring does not start at the beginning of the measure. This makes it hard to hold up to a shoe to eye (physically, with the eye) if the shoes will fit. My old ruler system (and marking the rules with permanent marker) works better for me.

Pretty good little gadget and living so rural where town is at least a 500 round mile trip doesn't live much time for shopping. One needs to know that it is plastic and not meant for heavy duty use. It worked for taking measurements for my Ballet dancers ballet shoes which we always better to shop online due to location.

In the picture the product look straight and solid, not so ones you receive it. The numbering of the shoe sizes is weird, but there are instructions at the back.to guide you. this product is not solid, and it can get very annoying when you're trying to measure someone foot. Get the metal foot measure, it may cost more, but it makes more sense then this product. this foot measure will do the trick, but not as comfortable as you would like. The seller did ship this product very quickly without any problems, so that helps a little.

I needed a way to measure the feet of my 7 kids. Knowing that anything I purchase would end up destroyed at some point (7 kids could destroy a titanium block) I took a shot at this one. Low price and works well, I'm very happy. And when the kids "accidentally" melt it with an arc welder they build from the coffee maker and some cereal bars it will be cheap enough to replace.

Compact and light ,this foot measurer is easy to store and use.It folds for storage and unfolds for use.The stops that pop up on both ends may seem a little flimsy,but it should provide years of service if handles gently.I would recommend this to fellow cheap skates.Buyt next time I will buy the wooden one!
