Very bright and nice mirror!
I really like this mirror. I have trouble when putting on my makeup because the lighting is not very good in my bathroom. This mirror helps me out a lot it brightens up around my face so I can see what I am doing. It came in three pieces and was super easy to put together. You just snap the base onto the mirror then the small magnifying mirror attaches to the big mirror with suction cups. It takes 4 AA batteries. The on off button is the small circle at the bottom of the mirror and you just touch it and it comes on and off very easily. It also came with a soft cloth to be able to wash the mirror off without scratching it up!I am very happy with this purchase it is made well and I feel like it will hold up for a long time!I am thankful that I was chosen to recieve this item at a discount for my honest review. I take all of my reviews very serious and I hope it has been helpful for you!

Doesn't light up
My mirror came today & I was so excited. It's a great size and the 10x mirror really zooms in. BUT - the mirror does NOT light up. I've used TWELVE different AA batteries, brand new, right out of the package and nothing. I'm so disappointed. Complete waste of money

No, not as great as everyone says.
I don't know about the other reviews, it seems too perfect a mirror based on what they said. When i received this I was let down big time. So here is a thorough breakdown review. First thing I noticed was it was made of cheap hard plastic. I'm sure it said it on its Description. Second, the photo here shows lights all around the mirror, but really it's just on the right and left side. It was also kind of blinding. I did try it out this morning and if i focus just on putting on my makeup it wasn't as blinding. Although my husband did comment on its brightness, negatively. It is pretty bright if you aren't using it for its purpose. If you happen to just walk past with its lights on, it's pretty blinding. It's good that it came with a wipe, because the mirror easily collects fingerprints! Like, just to touch the little circle "to turn on the lights" would leave a residue. To adjust the mirror up or down would leave a smear - even with clean fingers! It's easy to clean if i just exhale on it and wipe it down but it is annoying to have to keep it clean. Also, this thing did not come with an Instruction Manual or anything. Just the item in bubble wrap in a box. I couldn't figure out how to turn it on, I thought it was damaged/defected. I'm not a fan of the 10x mirror, but that's personal preference. I stick it on the back of the mirror but it keeps falling =/ Overall I just find it cheaply made. I wouldn't be surprised if the batteries didn't last long either. I will give it a few more tries, and if i'm still not fully satisfied I will have to return it.

Makeup
This is cute to add to your makeup storage but the LED is not Flattering to your face when applying makeup. Just get a better light.

It didn't come with any instructions but it was pretty self explanatory
When I opened the package it came in three parts: the mirror with LED lights, the base, and then the magnifying mirror. It didn't come with any instructions but it was pretty self explanatory. You press the mirror into the base and it snaps together. Figuring out how to put the batteries in was another story. The square battery cover with the slit on right side next to the indentation was difficult to remove. You couldn't just pinch the indentation and remove it. What I had to do was use a thin knife like a butter knife, gently insert it into the slit and bend the knife away from the indentation. Once I did that it popped off enough for me to grab it and remove the cover. Once I put the batteries in, the mirror worked well and you could dim the lights by holding the circle located on the bottom section of mirror. Overall the mirror is decent for the amount of money I paid. Cheap plastic but seems sturdy enough to possibly survive a dropping or two. The LED lights are white and do create a weird shine on my face but when I dim the light, the extra shine goes away. I'm looking forward to using the mirror for my daily makeup routine and strongly encourage anyone who desires a light up mirror for a decent price to choose this one.

Perfect for dimly lit bathroom- the LED and 10x combo is hard to beat!
I love my new mirror...i just got batteries in it and ended up spending the better part of an hour plucking, popping, extracting, playing with eyeliner- you name it! It makes it all a breeze and I like that the magnified portion is small so that I can have the magnification if I want it, but when I don't need it, the LED mirror itself is great for putting on makeup and getting ready in general. The light that puts off is so helpful in that I can see what I will actually look like in the daylight, since my bathroom is rather dim- this is the perfect solution! One of my best finds so far on Amazon

The Birds Sing ... Cheap Cheap Cheap
I was so excited to order this item and when I opened the package and I the birds began to sing. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP....I first gave this undersized baby mirror the benefit of the doubt, as first looks can be deceiving and after all I did need a make up mirror that allowed me to see my face whilst I applied my make up. I assembled the little mirror by placing the plastic stalk into the plastic base. Once standing, I flipped the mirror over and attempted to use my finger to remove the battery cover to no avail. I then used my most beloved sliding staple remover to gently pry the case open as human fingers or nails had failed this task miserably.Once the cover was removed, I injected the 4 AA batteries and turned the on switch. While is worked there was no 10X magnification except for a very small accompanying mirror no bigger than the size of a mason jar lid. I adhered the mini mirror via suction cup to the lighted mirror which obscured the upped left portion of my face. This could be handy by eliminating all confusion as to eye shadow placement should I start wearing a left-eye patch. I tried the mayo lid sized mirror for magnification but only reflected a 2' circle of my at a time. Perhaps I could use id better if the lights reflected a grid pattern. Well all in all not a good purchase. I am sure rather than $34.95 purchase price this mirror should be sold for no more then $10.00
