sturdy sack - yes; xl - not so much
Glad i opted for the largest size - it fits my 6lb bag with a little room left over for compression; the pics make them appear a bit larger than reality, so as the seller said, if there is any doubt, go a size up! a good quality bag that should last and a decent price at $20

Bought one. Then had to buy another. And another...
If you’re looking for a low quality ruck sack, keep searching. Bought one bag to use as “hold all” for small items (keys, phone) while hiking. Gearing up for an upcoming camping trip, I decided to update my sleeping bag to a TnF Wasatch 40 deg sleeping bag and decided to see if it fit in the sack given it’s compression capabilities. I knew for the trip we’d be around water so managed to get the bag into one of my SeatoSummit 8L dry bags which I was then able to squeeze into the medium M-Tac ruck sack. Well SOMEONE decided they needed to update their recently bought sleeping bag once they saw the set up and that’s how we can ended up buying an additional unit (plus a new sleeping bag and 8L dry bag). Not 6 days from my upcoming trip here I wondered if I could squeeze my current 2-person backpacking tent (92W x 56D x 44H when erect) into one. Fit like a glove so I decided to see if I could get two more delivered before the trip. They were in my hands the next day and my tent was in the bag as you can see. I decided to buy 2 bringing my total up to 4 so I could have an extra one around the house. Better to have it waiting here for use than to be waiting on it in the mail, and I know it’ll get used. I read other reviews that noted it wasn’t fully waterproof and I don’t want to risk it with my sleeping bag (canoeing to campgrounds). My tent however should be fine without the added layer. The material feels durable. Good stitching, sealing and webbing. I’ll update this in 6mo or so once we’ve put these things in the dirt and actually tested them.

Decent compression sack. Price seems a little high for what appears to be a light duty item.
Materials seem a little light, not sure how well they'll withstand wear. Otherwise seems to be of good quality out of the box. Only time will tell. Lots of compression straps. If the sack isn't full, you get hanging strap ends with no good way to secure them included in the design of the compression sack. I may add something to take care of this. Also would have been nice to have some loops or MOLLE to run the straps from my backpack through. Otherwise there is nothing wrong with this compression sack and I would probably buy it again. Size "L - 24 liter" fits a rolled up 5-lb wool blanket with room to spare. Haven't tried it yet but if I roll them up together, I can probably fit both the US Gore-Tex Bivy Bag and the 5 lb wool blanket into the size L - 24 liter compression sack. I would probably buy this again; but if I came across a different compression sack with better ways to attach to the sleeping bag straps on my rucksack, I might try a different brand/model of compression sack.

Great bags
I'm in love with these sacks. We have a big family and all of the sleeping bags go in these.

Miniature Alice pack! Tough & Ready for the field!
I had a good feeling b4 I ordered this but wow... this thing looks and feels like the old green army issue ruck sacks (Alice Pack)! Overall order satisfaction: 5☆ - Ordered yesterday, recieved today! Bag details: 5☆ - straps are a strong webbing material with (seemingly from first impressions) to have good solid stitching that runs along three entire length of strap to bag connection for horizontal straps & very solid stitching at the anchor point for the vertical straps... I have a high degree of confidence that I can apply a great deal of force to these straps without worry of them tearing the bag or compromising the stitching at the anchor points. 5☆ - bag canvas/material, as I stated, it feels a lot ike the army Alice Pack ruck sacks - the pockets on the front of the ruck sack. 5☆ - color - a consistent and exact O.D. Green, I'm not sure that came across in the pic I attached or not so, I wanted to clarify. 5☆ - size (description vs actual bag vs expectations). That's where I'm REALLY excited... it's A PERFECT FIT for my Gorilla Gear Double Hammock Underquilt (not the winter one). That was my only point of trepidation on ordering this one.... but boy, I'm glad I did. The pic attached to review is WITH the underquilt in the bag! I haven't even applied any real compression top it... I could get this to roughly half the height... and a little more... biut this really makes a huge difference on packing out my ruck! 4.5+☆ - misc > the top does have a fold over that is on the inside of the bag to protect the inner contents of the sack, but not a "cap" that cinches down... actually, if I think about it, it's pretty much a smaller & (actual) green version of the stuff sack provided wth the army sleep system! > weight... sure, it's certainly several ounces more than some of my other lightweight compression sacks with my higher end sleeping bags & things... but, ultimately, I think it all boils down to strength vs weight... and when I put some torque down on those straps, I'll gp with the extra few ounces. I'm VERY happy with my purchase... product, shipping, & overall shopping experience... definitely the best thing I've purchased in some time.

ECWS system compatibility.
This is supper sturdy. The Medium size holds the Green Patrol Bag with ease from the ECWS sleep system. It holds the Bivy cover with ease. It holds both the Bivvy Cover and Green Patrol Bag with effort. It will not hold the Black cold weather bag. It is too small. Update… just received the large bag 24 liters will hold the intermediate and patrol bag together tightly. It will also just hold the intermediate bag with the Bivvy cover as well. Awesome. Makes the military sleep system much more manageable. I plan to get both the medium and large size (12 and 24 liters) for every modular surplus sleep system I own.

Perfect for army sleeping bag
Perfect fit for my army issue modular sleeping bag, since I lost the black bag. Good strong material, and the straps feel very secure and cinch down very well.
