I am new to solar and decided to go with Victron as they are known to have good quality and are durable. Paired with my Cerbo GX via VE.Direct, I can check on the solar charge controller at any time. It has an easy to use interface and is pre-loaded with settings for my LifePo 4 batteries. Does a great job charging my batteries and accurately changes to absorption and float charging at the correct voltage. Make sure you pay attention to the max voltage and amperage when hooking your solar panels to this controller. It is a good value because of everything it does and I totally expect my system to last longer using Victron equipment. 5 year warranty gives you piece of mind too!

The difference in switching to this amazing product is by far my best choice I’ve ever made thus far. Bluetooth is easy to use. The durability so far is amazing. The amount of energy it helps produce outweighs what I expected. Peak sun hours from my 200 Watt Solar I get around 120 to 130 if not more which is super amazing. The size a little larger then I was thinking but it works great.

Works well, easy to install, love the Bluetooth capabilities. Can’t wait to buy their inverter next.

Purchased this to supplement my solar system. Doesn’t appear as efficient as the smaller units, but it’s not connected for dvcc yet

I bought my first Victron based solar equipment and fell in love with it. I've added inverter, another MPPT like this one, smart shunt, distributor, and a GX to manage all of it. This smartsolar MPPT integrated seamlessly into the system handled two strings with 4 panels each.

Easy install. Worked great for the 1st two days. Pumping 233 watts, then on the 3rd day I noticed it was putting out about 46 watts. I had to unplug panels and replug. Then they were full wattage for several minutes then dropped down again. I unplugged all panels except one 100 panel and it stayed around 68 to70 steady. My battery bank was full. I don't know why it did this.

This solar charger integrates nicely into my Victron Cerbo GX system. However, it will work for a few weeks, then decide to only accept between 1-60 watts indefinitely, until I disconnect the solar inputs and reconnect them. This is highly frustrating, as it is a remote installation, and can only visit to fix this issue during some weekends. I see no indication of stressed wiring or anything physically bad and I made sure the solar input is below the maximum voltage/wattage going into the charger. I'm hesitant to open a support ticket because it works by pulling in almost 800 watts from my panels, but randomly decides to permanently not work until I physically intervene. I can almost guarantee that Victron support will blame it on physical aspects of my wiring.
