What is needed in addition to the kit? Glue, etc?

I gave this to my 8 year old nephew for him and his father to assemble when I went to visit them. They live abroad so I have not been able to see how the project turned out. But per what I understood from the kit it would be wood glue needed as an addition.

Is it an endurance plane or a speed plane?

It's a beginner plane . Very good model.

I gave it as a gift. I never heard if iit flew. Sorry.
