My beautiful parrot started pucking after we moved from a home that we brought him to when he was a chicken, he is now 23. He looked so bad that KFC would not have wanted him. After 6 (six) weeks he is fully feathered again and back to his sweet self. He has been vetted numerous times for this issue and nothing worked, and there was nothing in his blood work. this has helped my neurotic Cockatoo settle down a lot, and it appears its helping her feather growth as well. Our little 31 year old Cockatiel hurt his foot the same week it came and he's gotten some too and its helped his pain and recooperation.

I’m making my first repeat purchase of this, close to a year from my first time I found it on sale. Glad I took the chance! My green cheek conure’s overall appearance has definitely improved. He’s glossier, stays cleaner for longer, and although his pin feathers were still miserable for us both, they’re much easier for me to preen them for him. He loves the taste, it’s always a foraging favorite. So one bag has lasted me a year, and I’m recommending you give it a try.

I can’t really review the product or how well it works because my picky parrotlet absolutely refuses to try it. He also hates the oil and most other foods that other parrots love. Hopefully it works for others.

I was very pleased to finally have found hemp for my birds. Their meal plan and lifestyle are very healthy and enriching. This is one more way of adding to their lives. They eat the hemp up very eagerly, with no waste. It smells fresh, has an easy ziplock bag. Our avian vet has told us our parakeets are quite healthy and to continue doing what we’re doing. Because we use a little at a time, being small birds, it lasts a couple of months. So we’re getting a good value- cost per use vs cost of product. I would highly recommend for parakeets.

I have a 4 year old Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo that began plucking in February and didn't stop. She was even pulling out pin feathers and bleeding. I was super scared. She was new to me, so I tried everything. Took her to the vet and spent a ton of money on tests and there was no cause except hormones and had to wait it out. I had to remove all toys from her cage because she was aroused by everything (at the vet and my trainers direction). Her diet is spot on with fresh veggie chop in the am and organic cold pressed pellets in the evening time and she always gets 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night. I did more research and came upon the Bird Hemp and thought why not try it? Before my bird would not touch her fresh chop - now she gobbles it up. All I do is sprinkle a little bird hemp on top and viola her cup is empty an hour later. But the best is, she has completely quit plucking. She was bare everywhere except her wings and head - now she has her feathers back and it has only been about 4 weeks! It is amazing! I was able to introduce toys back into her cage and she seems much happier. Could I have just timed it that hormonal season ended at the time I added this? I guess, but for me it was from the time I started Bird Hemp I realized something was changing with her behavior.
