I've been in love with this brand ever since I discovered it. This last me a really long time. I like to pour a servings worth in my oatmeal and it truly sets the tone for my lunch!

Recent formula change tastes horrible. Like I put a tablespoon of salt in water, shook it up, and drank it. Salt flavor clearly and absolutely overpowers any other flavors it might have. Do not buy this again. To return it I did have to jump in a chat with a representative, but when I told them the problem and asked for a refund, they immediately said yes. Last time I tried getting a refund for this same exact problem with a different protein powder company they gave me a really hard time about it before finally refunding me. About these formula changes, though... So angry.... ... People who actually care about doing something good decide to start a company. They make a product, improve it over time until they become the best on the market, or at least among the best. Then, when their company is worth the most money because they've made their products so amazing, they sell their company to some profit hungry people. The profit hungry people then slowly degrade the product over time by cutting corners little by little (frog in the pot of slowly heating water idea). An ingredient change here .. wait 6 or 12 months, ingredient change again. Is it to improve the ingredients? Improve the nutrition? Improve the taste? Well, they will certainly tell you those are the reasons! But the real reason is simply to use cheaper ingredients, lowering cost of production, while keeping the price the same, so that they make more profit. The main goal of the original owners was to make a good product that helped people. The main goal of the new owners is to make a profit. Come on original owners.... Now you're gone and we want you back... Can't you just keep being the owner while giving all the day to day tasks to other people? Your job would simply be to literally DRINK the product and see if it tastes good, and read the ingredients to make sure it's still properly healthy and nutritious. If not, you tell them they are not allowed to go forward with the changes they have made. Earlier this year, or maybe it was last year, I was buying the protein powder tubs from Garden of Life. They sold out to some profit-focused company too - I'm sure you know what happened after that. They ruined the formula to make a more money. Amazon flags and removes your review if you use any colorful words, so I will refrain from doing so. It feels like all our good leaders are disappearing. They do cool stuff then hand the reigns over to some greedy people who ruin the good things they created. I get if you want to sell your company... But sell it to one specific person who you believe has proper ethics and morals. Preferably "sell" it in a way that keeps yourself as the person who has the final say on any changes.

It tastes better than it smells, price has skyrocketed! I have no idea what has happened with the product pricing, but it has gone from $63 in January to $87 in June 2022. I know a few things have gone up in price recently but that is an astronomical increase for Protein powder. It is still just a little bit cheaper to buy it here than at the grocery store. Like other users I wish they would have a refill bag because most people that buy this product probably buy it over and over again and they can reuse that big black plastic container rather than getting new ones over and over again which quite obviously cost the manufacture a good deal of money. Being proud of your dairy free vegan protein powder is great and all but at the same time, they should also consider the long term affects of the environment and their product. Multi faceted environmental concerns. Hopefully they read the reviews here on Amazon and other people can also comment similarly if they care about shipping this huge plastic tub that’s only half full . And hopefully at one point the pricing can come back down to closer to 50 or $60 because 87 is too high and I won’t pay it. I will just eat less of this product and continue eating the former product I purchased which was soy powder. Edit: at one point it was above $105.00! Way cheaper at my grocery store. On prime day it was $55.00. Something isn’t quite right here. Great product, varied pricing, I’m eating Costcos protein powder from vegetables at 1/3 the price these days. I like it almost as much and it’s in the stores and Costco. Com. Looking forward to the days of buying this again at 50-60 ea.
