First of all I was very nervous when purchasing this as I did so before looking at reviews. Total install time for me was about an hour. The instructions weren’t too clear. Luckily we live in the age of you tube diy. It is important to note that these screws are tiny so be gentle while in screwing. They come out with ease. As far as disconnecting the ribbons, the tools are useful to gently pry out the cables. The most difficult part of this was actually the camera and proximity sensor. This was mostly because I wasn’t watching how it came out. Not a fault of the product. Once I connected everything on the new screen and hooked up the cables the screen snapped right into place. The big moment came to turn on my phone. And BOOM. I saved $80 doing it myself.

I run a small iPhone screen repair business and order dozens of screens throughout the year. I’ve ordered from 99% of the retailers on Amazon & Ebay and this screen is the one I keep coming back to. The colors are closer to the original (OEM) screen as it gets, and the viewing angles are good as well, (other screens sometimes have oddly bad glare on the screens). I recommend spending $5-10 on your own toolset which will be much easier to work with, but the tools it comes with do get the job done. Overall, good product

In reality I would rate this product 3 stars but after using it for 2 weeks now I have found that this screen severely drains the iPhone battery. My phone battery gets drained 1% for every 45 seconds I am using it to webbrowse. Forget it if you want to FaceTime, take video or use GPS. I now have to use the phone on the lowest light setting and bring a back up charger everywhere I go. This pretty much takes away any reliability and mobility of my phone.On the bright side there are good things about this product:Fits well. The edges were flush. All screws and mounts lined up well and fit the screws well. home button is flush.Functions well. Touch is responsive.Easier than previous iPhones to installTools provided worked wellLooks like OEM cosmetically.Cons:Drains battery as mentioned above.As others have said quality is no where near Apple OEM. There are dead spots but hey it’s better than a screen with broken glass.Some parts from the old screen had to be transferred over. Particularly the ear speaker mesh protector. The one that came on this screen Did NOT fit the speaker assembly. Also camera and light sensor brackets.The cut around the home button is rough. Scratchy around the edges

Although I tried several times, the screen is a little bit higher than the edge of phone base, which makes the home button loose as compared to the original screen. In addition, there is a ~3mm*3mm slight bright spot on screen. But generally, it is okay by now.----Added on 2017-06-07----But now the glass screen is largely detached from the metal frame. I can clearly see the glue between these two part. Please see the photos in attachment. Actually, the detachment already happened when I firstly got this item. But at that time, it was only on top of the phone. Please see my review for this. At that time, I thought it was a little mismatch between the phone base and the non-original screen. I did realize it was the detachment between glass screen and the metal frame. Now it extends over half way of my phone.

Very good screen replacement. I was almost certain a majority of the bad reviews came at the hands of armchair or wannabe technicians who probably assumed this was a full screen replacement when it wasn't. You need your old cracked screen in order to transfer the underside guts to this unit. It's really a matter of removing the bracket for the home button and the back frame from an otherwise trashed screen. Quality was good and the packaging was impeccable. Took me no more than 15 minutes to complete this repair, customer very satisfied and the price was reasonable. Thank you.

Works great!! So excited that this kit is so affordable! I followed a YouTube video on replacing my screen and this replacement is GREAT. I read a lot of the reviews and people were complaining about the "quality" or the screen color? 1. It was $20 for the replacement screen (AND a kit), so Obviously it's to be slightly different because it's not from Apple.2. I don't notice any color difference at all. I can tell. SLIGHT difference from the apprearance of my Apple screen, but I think if I hadn't read any of those reviews, I probably wouldn't have noticed it at all.Everything works perfectly, touch, home screen, everything.GREAT BUY, if you need a replacement, don't think twice, just get it!

Everything works perfectly, no issues. You have to transfer the ear piece, camera cable, plastic holders for the camera, home button, cables, metal back plate, etc. be patience and take your time, make sure to keep track all the screws. Once it's done, it will look and function just like original. Nice product!

Dont believe other peoples reviews. try it for yourself. This seller is AWESOME! I received the product in ONE DAY and it came professionally packaged. NOT single scratch on the screen and everything worked perfectly fine. I am buying another LCD+digitized from this seller. Replacing a screen take time and patience, these parts are small and cables are paper thin. If your not sure on how to repair one, DONT DO IT. That way you don't damage a good product and blame the seller for it.
