I'm sorry that I cannot answer your question. I purchased this toy for my granddaughter last summer when she was about 4 1/2 years old. The toy is at her house, not mine. I can tell you that she loves the pop beads and plays with them often. She is very artistic and creative. She has had very little difficulty with snapping the beads together or with popping them apart. Occasionally she will ask for assistance. This is a nice assortment of colors and sizes of beads. Kids can create rings, bracelets, and necklaces. And the beads come in a nice plastic storage container with a handle. I felt that this was a great buy! Very entertaining toy.
