Has been working well in moist condition for 4 years

Used this to replace was looked like an identical one installed from a local plumbing show at a higher cost. The other one had a DC adapter, I find the A/C line cord easier to deal with than a wall wart adapter. The old ones motor was still fine, the ball in the valve had begun binding, I suspect due to a very very high residue in the water. I put a filter in front of it this time so less grit gets through.

Valve didn’t work for me. Return spring weakened and quit closing completely. May have just gotten a bad one. Needed a capacitor return valve. Seller was excellent and gave me a refund quickly. Would shop with this seller again. Thanks

My 3/4 valve is normally closed, when 110VAC is applied the valve starts to open within 1 second. When the power is removed it starts to close within 1 second. It takes almost 3 full seconds fully stroke. The motor is not loud. This product is exactly as advertised and I am very happy with the aesthetics and build quality.

Low power and struggles to close. The valve only closes fully half the time. The other half it closes about 3/4 and just keeps running. Reached out to support about any adjustments I could make. After asking for and receiving my order number numerous times they never got back to me. Bad customer service.

Finally found this 3/4 lead free motorized valve on Amazon. I used it in my home automation to shutoff water main in case of leak detection from various z-wave sensors. The valve requires a/c power to open and spring loaded to close. If you experience power outage, the valve will close. Functionality of this valve is spot on. No leak at close position. A note on install: I had a tough time tightening stainless steel FNPT to brass fittings in order to maintain good seal at the thread. You most likely will need a 1-1/16" wrench and quick-connect Sharkbite fittings so you make incremental adjustment should leak appears at the thread.

Like all things mechanical it will eventually fail. I've had one in use as a compressed air valve for several years and it initially worked well to selectively turn on the air when needed. However several years in it started to get sticky and refused to fully close. I disassembled it and lubricated the ball and it was better but it has never worked good for a long time since then. Finally today the valve has stopped working entirely and I need to replace it but it's been over 5 years.

I have this valve set up as a remote isolation for my 240V air compressor in a shed. When I open a switch in my garage, the compressor and the valve losses power. Then the valve shuts. The valve is attached to the tank and is exposed to compressor vibrations. This is a moderate duty cycle application. No failures to date. This is a great remote actuated valve. On average it takes 2.3 'ish' seconds to open and shut. Would not use in continuous duty application.
