Good quality kettle that looks good with other items of the same colour.
A very good looking kettle with a good fast boil. As others have said it is a bit noisy but as it is quick it is not a problem.

Good value
I am really pleased with this kettle. It is well designed and well made and pours perfectly without dripping. The only minus point is that it is rather heavy so is probably not suitable for someone with weak or painful wrists.

Good kettle
A decent kettle for the price. It has a good water capacity at 1.7L and it's stainless steel rather than plastic. The upside of that means that the water tends to retain heat for longer than it does in a plastic kettle. On the flip side, the outside of the kettle gets extremely hot after boiling though this does not affect the handle, but it's something to be aware of if you have young children around. Not that they should be anywhere near a boiled kettle anyway. It boils quickly enough but I wouldn't say it's any quicker than any other mid-price kettle and it's pretty noisy in doing it. The lid releases with a button at the top of the handle but it doesn't go up quite as far as I'd like - only to about 60° so quite a bit short of vertical which might make filling awkward on some sinks/taps? There's a water gauge on the left side. It would be better if it had one on each side as I'm left-handed so when I put the kettle on the base, the gauge is to the wall and I have to turn it 180° to see. All in all though, minor niggles. Good kettle.

Best kettle out there
The only kettle you should get is this one. I hardly ever leave reviews, but this kettle served me for years without breaking. I only changed it because the inner filter broke and limescale started pouring into my coffee. This time I bought the red one, and I have to say it looks metallic, whereas the cream colour looks much more elegant. As I said, if it weren’t for the limescale, I would never have changed it, even after having it for years. It is a bit loud, but it boils quickly and pours perfectly — I’m so glad with it. Forget other kettles out there. I’m only writing this to help you with your purchase because it took me a while to find the right kettle.

Great kettle
Great kettle. Low noise. Water stays hot for a while afterwards too. Needed a quick replacement after ours began to leak. Easy to pour and hold. Button press to release the lid. Easy clean.

Nice design, price and functions as you'd expect
So, I bought a kettle on Amazon that leaked, then another with a design fault (Swan and Salter), both more expensive than this, which was on offer at the time. They went back and I chose this Morphy Richards one. Fingers crossed for third time lucky. So far, so good. I preferred the aesthetics of the previous 2 but no good if they didn't work. This, with it's flip top lid, is good value for money and looks fine. It doesn't seem to drip while pouring either. It's noisy but not compared to the Salter one. The blue switch (why are they all blue?) feels a little flimsy but it's okay. How it'll be in years time, who knows, but seems a good buy, so recommended.

Generally good but noisy
Generally a good item. Good construction for the price. However one drawback is that it is noisy when boiling.

Fast boil
Nice looking kettle but it’s rather noisy compared to my previous kettle.
