Really nice. Tiny scratch on the screen but you don’t notice them.

A quick update in the keyboard letter N is not working until you type it in one direction also sometimes it double taps every single time when I type password, I need to first type it in the notepad and then copy it . Also, the worst part is the laptop is freezing. When I open just MS word it’s a paid app and with a little experience in computers. I just opened the back panel to see just a hunch why the apps are freezing every single time and look at the photos. Why. I think this would be the basic expectation in refurbishing. I hate how they managed it by keeping the skin. I would have left the air vents for a better photo guys at least open the device and clean. The dust keyboard is expected. It’s a used one so it might not be perfect but what about the air vents? This is how you refurbish.?????

Almost a 5 star for what it is. There is a small spot on the bottom center of the screen that doesnt seem to be working. It’s white, but faded white, so it isn’t overly noticeable. Considering the purpose of me getting this macbook though, it’s totally fine. Upon first setting up, I was a little concerned as everything was a bit laggy and choppy. After standard maintanance, and putting this thing to use, maybe it shook stuff off because now it’s performing quite smoothly. Not like m1 smooth, but more than good enough.

the specs of what i received are better than what was specified when i purchased it so there’s nothing to complain about from me. i’m running the most recent macOS as of oct 2023 and its running pretty well! it does heat up and start making fan noises when im running heavy applications but not too often! got original apple 87W charging block and original cable. great purchase

The unit was refurbished, so I expected some wear and scratches. And wasn’t disappointed with the fact there was some on the outside. The screen was in perfect condition. However the keyboard is the reason I’ve sent it back, the “G” and “H” keys didn’t work properly and required a loT of pressure to maybe work, and the accent key was falling off. Customer service said that I could send it back for a refund because they didn’t have any others in stock ( Amazon said they had 8 at the time) I asked if I could just get a keyboard replacement, they said they would refund it, again not what I wanted. Then proceeded to tell me to contact Amazon customer service because they couldn’t help.

La computadora llego bien protegida aunque no puedo decir lo mismo del cargado. Pareciera que solo lo tomaron y aventaron en la caja. No venia ningún papel de Amazon Renewed como en varios videos e visto que viene. Llevo probando el equipo y hasta el momento a funcionado sin problemas, la verdad por el precio y el año de fabricación (2017) es muy buen producto. Lo único malo es que llego con 378 ciclos en la batería, lo que reduce mucho el tiempo en que puede estar encendida sin el cargador (aunque por el año que es se entiende). Tendré que comprar una bateria nueva el cual es un gasto adicional pero repito por el precio que la compre creo que es justificable. En resumen muy buena compra si lo que quieres es ver contenido o incluso para estudiantes y me atrevería decir que incluso para trabajar porque el procesador Core I5 con 16GB en RAM es muy rápida. Sin embargo, tal vez invertir un poco mas y comprar una MacBook Pro mas reciente con el procesador M1 podría ser una mejor compra por las actualizaciones ya que esta versión se quedo en macOS Ventura y ya no es compatible con el sistema operativo mas reciente macOS Sonoma.
