STAEDTLER Compact Pencil Sharpener 1 Hole (510 10)

Sharpening pencils is a daily, if not hourly chore for all my kids during our school day. I have found that poor pencil sharpeners will kill productivity and put tasks at a halt for some time. This pencil sharpener is the very best I have used, and I have been buying pencil sharpeners, both electric and manual, for my homeschooling needs, for years. The only thing is, that since it is small, I have to make an effort to keep up with it, so I have a rule that it stays in its own basket. Another important matter is the pencils you are using. However even my poorly made pencils (received as gifts) work better in this sharpener, but poorly made pencils will fall apart on their own accord regardless sometimes. I enthusiastically recommend this product, with the suggestion that since you have to pay shipping, that you go ahead and order more than one. I wish I had.

Can you love a manual pencil sharpener? I guess you can! This one is both sturdy, and dependable. It sharpens pencils better than some wall mountedl pencil sharpeners we've owned. In fact we ordered two other manual pencil sharpeners that claimed to be made of metal, but they fell far short of this one. This is the real deal and you won't be disappointed.

We've gone through many different pencil sharpeners and they all left the lead loose. We've even had a $20 electric one that did the same. This one is very nice and sharpens the pencil evenly. Not a five cause it's tiny and a little bit of work to clean the shavings off. It's really like a 4.8

I'm very happy with this little sharpener. My 7 yr old can use it easily, it sharpens pencils and colored pencils of ordinary sizes well!

Lightweight and small, yet precision drilled so they actually work. Fit perfectly in a pencil case. They are so small you might lose them, though, so I've tethered some of them to string with superglue.

I forgot how wonderful a manual pencil sharpener is. Convenent and does an excellent job.

It's sturdy and it works great, my only complaint would be that it is so small that it's easy to misplace, but that is a minor concern

Same sharpner model is available in staples for 1$. Product is good but too pricy on amazon.I would have returned it but they would charge return fee .. that sucks
