TTY Tool
Worked great the needle actually moves when to turn the wrench The needle is pretty heavy duty as well being that I speared myself with it and it didn't even bend.

Angle Gauge.
Works great and easy to use.

Works to properly tighten torque-to-yield bolts, and other fasteners with angle, but tool is sloppy.
The VASTOOLS Torque Angle Meter, 1/2" Drive Wrench Angle Gauge provides good value for tightening torque-to-yield bolts and other fasteners that have angle offset tightening requirements. The tool has slop, however. Properly turning a fastener an angle offset is nuanced. You have to take up all the slop in the tool stack setup by applying slight tension to the whole tool stack THEN read or set the initial angle THEN turn the angle offset. The tool's slop makes you, the mechanic, take extra steps to ensure an accurate angle offset for your fastener.

Yes, Get This One!
I got this one because of what reviewers said of other products (even one product which I used to buy because although there stuff was not "Snap-On," it was good quality). I have few of their products that I've had for years. Some customers warned that their products have taken a dive in quality, and one person recommended this product. I just used this product today to torque my "Torque to Yield" (TTY) rod bolts. I'm having to work on this engine, on my back, with the engine still in the car. It's challenging. Using this tool was a pleasant experience. It's got a strong flex tube (or whatever the proper term is) and a strong clamp. They also include a couple of extra degree stickers if yours gets damaged. I try to keep my tools clean, but when you are working, looking up all the time, you can't help but to get some oil on the dial. I gently wiped the dial with a "blue shop cloth." I almost had to be a contortionist to properly torque 12 bolts "upside down." This tool did an outstanding job. Hint: Torque to 1st setting and then put a dot of paint on the rod caps or cylinder head, and a corresponding dot on the bolt. That's your "zero point." THEN you start the extra number of degrees that are called for. When you are done, you'll see the dots have moved by the number of degrees that you turned them. That way, you will NOT lose track of what you've done or which ones you've done. Proper torque is mission critical and the paint dots are an outstanding idea. Get one of those little parts paint markers. I got one here on Amazon. Just search for Forney Paint Marker. Good luck and this is a GREAT TOOL!!! Yes, I would recommend it to a friend, and in fact I have a friend who needs to replace head gaskets (on an engine that uses TTY head bolts). I'm going to direct him to this product!

Worked great.
I just added blue lock tite to both ends of threads so as not to loosen up. Strong magnet with good length of flexibility. Set your dial, turn the tool forward or back in the direction needed to take the slack away in order to lign up the needle with the starting point, lightly lock the dial screw in, complete your torque specs. Stored it a rectangular box.

BUY IT
Until you buy this and try it you will not understand how great it works. Don't bother with horrible freight one they are junk. It saved me on my LS and no need for a very expensive digital one unless you need it every day

used to put together my N55 conrod bolts. engine still going strong.

It does the job at hand well. With out it, recessed/ deep engine head bolts would be near impossible yo tourque to yield. The goose neck clamp is a better design than the all key anchor type. Good price good quality.

Goose neck keeps coming loose. needed to add a little thread locker. Make sure to clamp securely. It came with a couple extra dial stickers, so you can mark them up and get the proper angle every time.
