I ordered these recently and I do have to say I was a little disappointed, they aren't made well, 2 of them crumbled and chipped apart, the rest are ok, they bounce all over the place because of the shape, which my son loves, so I'm happy that they are getting played with, he is happy with them and likes to carry them everywhere, which is why I gave 4 stars.. but I had to take at least one star away for the 2 balls that chipped apart and crumbled.. I would purchase them again just because my son loves them so much, just check each one out after getting them to make sure they won't chip apart or crumble on you, knowing my son he would have tried to eat the little pieces.

Daughter had a rock climbing party and these bouncing balls worked well as part of party favors. Yes, there was an unpleasant scent upon initially opening box but I just left balls out on table to air out and that worked fine. Kids love the way they bounce in irregular directions, makes for lots of fun and laughs

I keep buying these things where ever I can find them the cheapest. I first purchased them a few years ago to go in favor bags for a kids birthday party. However, I recently discovered my cat loves, loves, loves these balls and likes to run after them when we throw them. They are large enough so that she can't swallow them. Unfortunately, my dog likes them equally well and started chewing on them, not good. Not a big deal now as we have trained our doggie to not even touch them and keep them out of her reach.

These are really cool looking irregularly shaped balls. They don't necessarily look like real rocks but I imagine that some planet out in there in the universe universe has rocks that look like these. Because these rocks are irregularly shaped the bounce will not be in a predictable trajectory which for me is a neat feature that I think some kids would find both fun and challenging. And they do bounce pretty high. And some higher than others! The reason I gave 3 stars is because as some past reviewers commented, the balls are poorly made. I purchased 36 balls in total (3 boxes, each box containing 12 balls) and of the 36 balls 16 balls had defects in around the circumference where the 2 halves meet (see my 2 photos). It's not only an aesthetic issue but also a functional problem. After several bounces with this kind of defect these defective balls will be guaranteed to come apart. I'll have to return just because too many of these balls had this same defect.

These were a big hit at our minecraft themed party. Careful around smaller kids though, they can easily fit in a toddler's mouth. They bounce great and look really cool.
