Good quality and less expensive than kits with bottles. We just keep and use the many bottles from the past. It's not as convenient as already having the powder in the bottles, but easy to do with a funnel. The color variety is as shown and works well for us. The colors are vivid and absorb great into cotton fabrics. Fun to put in spray bottles for a different look!

This is the 3rd time I have used Tulip refills, and the results are always awesome. I soak in soda ash before tying and dyeing (I know it doesn't need it, but I swear it helps), and leave them wrapped in plastic overnight. I'm still happily wearing the first shirt I made, the colors are still vibrant and I made it in 2013!

I have recently gotten into tie dying and I love these dyes! I bought a starter package at a hobby store that came with the bottles and have been buying these refill packages since. They work great and the color really pops! I also soak my shirts in a soda ash solution before dying. (the soda ash is from another company) Overall I am very happy with these dyes.

Worked well but kind of messy - I wish they provided a small funnel for refilling the bottles.

I have bought this brand before from a different store & all I can honestly say is that 30 packets isn't quite enough for tie dying especially if you do this to make money( which I do). For the small box it's great for 30 packets, but I believe there should he at least 100 or more,BUT it's a great product, no staining, easy to cut open to pour into the bottle. Just enough colors to suit whatever you are making, just order 2-3 boxes rather than just one if you are doing multiple items, it's smart, but overall it's a great product & I LOVE it!

Love the ease and fun!!! We used Dollar General dish washing tubs to place our tee-shirts all prepped and tied up with rubber bands. Working on them in the tubs, adding the wet colors by squirting the shirts where you want the colors is the most fun!!! Note: You may wish to wear some protective plastic/latex gloves. Allow shirts to dry, then throw in the dryer for 10 to 15 minutes in a hot dryer, before washing to wear. Yes, you may wear it as long as the colors are dry.

I bought this kit to take on a Ladies Weekend. We had a blast! Very easy approach. Just filled the bottles, shake to dissolve, and tie-die to our hearts' content. Colors have stayed sharp and intense. Do be very careful when shaking and using... one errant drop will definitely stay where it ends up. Keep table and hands clean. I loved this so much, I bought a refill pack with powder dye to refill the bottles. This is so wonderful because I've always loved tie-die, but vendors generally only have mens crewneck t-shirts. This way I can buy my fave white, cotton shirts (from JCPenney's with v- or scoop necks) and tie die up a storm.
