I was looking for a solution for my MacBook Pro slipping off my lap when I type. I use my Mac to type interviews and touch type with the Mac on my lap. Ive done this for years with Windows computers but the problem is the case on the Mac is super slick, and the laptop slips around. This causes me to put pressure on the keyboard with my wrists and track pad to keep the thing from flying off my lap and across the room. When I inadvertently touch the trackpad, the cursor goes zooming off and I make a ton of typos. Very frustrating. I was looking for a solution and found these Cattongue Grips. I was able to cut two of them to the proper length so they cause just enough friction on my clothing. No more slipping. The black finish matches the Mac just fine and doesn't detract from its look (I hate sticking things to a laptop case). The strips cut easily to size, stick on easy without any gooey mess. They are just a tad lower than the rubber feet, so they do not interfere with the Mac when it's sitting on a desk. When you put the on, just be sure to not cover the screws on the back of the Mac. IMHO this is a much better than using a lap desk, and it's less expensive. It also helps when gripping the case for carrying. It's easy to drop these things because they're so slippery and slightly heavy. Thanks Cattongue Grips!

My first impression is that this stuff is like MAGIC. It's exactly what I've been looking for in terms of texture - not so soft that it dirties easily or leaves residue, but softer than a traditional rubber foot or grip tape. It's unbelievably grippy on hard surfaces - much more than I would have expected, and I don't anticipate any issues with the adhesive on the flat surfaces I have applied it to. It was super easy to cut to size with a utility razor, and I have way more left over than I thought I would, given the low price for this set of strips! I am definitely going to be looking for excuses to use more of this stuff.

These things work very well, used them to keep our car seat from slipping on leather seats. I could see a ton of other uses for them. High quality material, and seems very durable.

I purchased these for the sole purpose of stopping my wide grips from rotating on my Iron Gym pull-up bar. Previous efforts, including the use of racket tape and even spray adhesive, had failed to accomplish this, but these CatTongue strips really do work. The rubber of the wide grip (Fat Gripz, specifically) locks quite securely onto them. Now it is true that the perpendicular handholds (perpendicular to the plane of the wall that is) hold better than the parallel ones, which still slip a little bit. But that is quite manageable by gripping a little tighter. Application was dead simple - using a ruler and an exacto knife I was able to cut exactly what I needed. I admit that I would like to get more for my money, I suppose you can buy the roll for that instead of theses strips, but it so happened that this was just about exactly what I needed, I only had one strip left over after doing all four bars in double-wide layers. So no significant complaint there. I've been using them on the bar for a couple months now, and they show no signs of peeling or coming away. Note that I leave my grips on the bar, I don't take them on and off again, so aside from when I'm using the bar little force is applied to the tape. I would recommend for my somewhat niche purpose, and confirm they seem to grip at least some kinds of rubber quite well.

This product has Amazing grip great feel and texture! Easy to apply and cut thanks to the grid to any size. Also has good stick. I bought this product for my universal remote that I bought to replace my Harmony, so it's a really nice remote but the only thing is that it was so slippery and not enjoyable to hold because it would slip out of my hands or if I set it on my chair and moved around it would slip off on to the floor.. But not anymore.. This product I love! Don't have to worry about it slipping away from me or falling to the ground. It literally sticks like glue but feels great in your hands. I could almost have it horizontal on my chair and it wont fall.. Crazy awesome!! Love it.. 5 stars all the way⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend this product and will be my go to in the future. Thank you!

We have a floor mini exercise bike. It has some non-slippery footing installed around but it slips all the time while being used. We tried several other non-slip mats but it would still slide around. Installed the CATTONGUE and the problem was solved instantly. We cut 2 strips to fit the corners of the exercise mini bike. It was easy to cut, just like cutting paper. Stick on the corners and tried it on the hardwood floor. Problem solved. My wife had been complaining about the slipping bike for months! This solved the issue after trying several other pads. Glad to have found it.

Product worked great grip wise definitely was exactly the texture I needed for the handle I was trying them on. Only issue with it being a handle and being round the grips do not stick to itself. I overlapped in one area and the next morning when I looked at it, it was peeling off, not to say that if it were used on something straight and not rounded it would probably have been perfect. So definitely the right texture for things, but if you’re planning on using it on something round, it will probably not stay.

These are crazy good. Like alarmingly good. We have one of those trendy modular foam couches. The metal side and back supports used to slide out from under the couch when you sat down too hard or if you leaned against the arms for too long. These things are so sticky, I couldn’t get them out of the package without tearing it down the side and I stuck the nonslip side to our wall before removing the cover to the adhesive. I was not surprised to find that they solved our couch problem easily, and I no longer have to worry about our cat sitting on the arm so long that the back of the couch comes loose

Purchased for use on silicone cellular phone cases in an effort to obtain improved grip. Very good product ... easy cut with scissors for custom installation, excellent adhesion and feels good when holding holding phone. Sufficient product in each package for multiple installations on anything where slippage is a concern. I highly recommend this product!

The adhesive sticks VERY WELL, sticks well to factory grip plastic on handguns. Easy to cut to shape using good scissors. I stuck some on my pistol and it made a world of difference. I like it MUCH better than the sandpaper type grip tape. I do recommend this alternative to buying a rubber sleeve for your pistol grip.

Grip side is good but adhesive is trash, which makes the product useless. Also my package came open with some of the protective backing for the adhesives removed, causing multiple grips to be stuck together. EDIT: the adhesive is actually good, I just had 2 grips stuck together preventing it to adhere properly.

For the price I would say this is very subpar. The benefit to buying this though is that it does provide some grip (6/10) and is very low profile compared to others. Use Case: Purchased this for my SkyPad 4.0

This product works very well as intended. I will get more.
