Add smart control to your heating, amazing for Apple Home control
During this cold winter, these have proven invaluable! Easily connected to our Apple Home app, we can control each radiator individually when one of these is added. Managing empty rooms has become simple, easily turned off or right down and quick to set the temeprature required for when visitors arrive to use the spare bedroom. We have tried a few version of this type of heatring control and the Eve are the only ones that work consistantly and reliably. So easy to use and saving money as our home is heated to our needs. Incredibly easy to replace the existing "TRV head" by swapping the new smart Eve head with the old "dumb" top. No need to drain water or cause mess as they are a simple direct replacement. Essential if you want to add smart heating for individual rooms. Not cheap, excellent quality and easy to use. A++++++

Absolutely Perfect
I live in a block with communal heating and have two radiators in my flat that are linked (even the plumbers were baffled) so that the valve in the living room also controlled the radiator in the bedroom. Worst of all I couldn’t control the temperature as the heating was either on or off regardless of what setting I applied at the TRV. It was uncomfortably hot at times and I was constantly turning the radiator on and off to regulate. This Eve device has completely solved my issue. It turns the valve on and off to maintain a constant temperature and I now have control that I didn’t think possible with my plumbing set up. The automations through Apple Home are great and so far I’ve been so impressed. I can ask Siri to set a temperature or use the Eve or Home App to do do so and as mentioned I can automate the whole day so as not to even have to think about it. Worth every penny I spent on it and I only needed one.

Great for Individual Room Control
The product installs very easily and functions effectively out of the box. They can sometimes be a little loud at night, so I wouldn’t recommend if it’s right next to your bed.

Not recommended in the UK
We bought the radiator valves and thermo controls along with a weather sensor and in door room sensor. Initially it seems to work. Easy it install and appeared good quality. Now 3 weeks down the road, the app is the the best part of this system. Everything else has failed. The rad valves don't actually do much, we know the motor inside is spinning because of the noise they make. They are very loud, so there is no doubting when they are spinning. As for heat control, well very little. The idea that the valves can be controlled by the separate thermo control is just that. An idea, very little evidence they actually work other than to tell you the temperature and humidity. Starting to doubt the system I used an old bulb temperature gauge, and it seems the devices are out by +/- 5 degrees. Each valve has an off set, to allow for the proximity of the valve to the radiator. Even allowing for that both the valves and thermo controls are out. As I said at the start, the build standard looks and feels the quality you would expect for the price. Further research on-line shows that I am not alone in this experience. Because there is actually very little documentation from Eve, I tried most of the fixes suggested on-line with little or no success. It's shame, the app is actually quite good, but not much use if the system does not work as expected. Over all I would not recommend the Eve smart home system, it simply does not work. I did try to return the products, unfortunately I was told by Amazon I need to contact the supplier or manufacturer.

Very useful
I bought this to try out and see if it could help lower costs compared to conventional thermostatic valves. It's a lot lower initial cost than most of the competition as you don't need a proprietary control unit wired into your boiler. As well as controlling much better than the conventional units the radiator can be scheduled to warm up at set times according to a schedule you set for that room - different schedules possible for different days of the week. The unit is easily installed, set up and monitored via an Apple app. If you have an apple mini-pod they can form part of an apple home network, allowing settings to be adjusted over the internet or controlled through Siri. I found these devices to be an extremely useful tool for controlling heating costs, I've since bought 4 more and will shortly buy another 4 to complete my radiator set up. Provided they last for a few years I think they will easily pay for themselves in this time of fuel price inflation.

Great thermostats, but flakey network connection
Got three of these so far, and while being great , high quality standalone units, network and features have much to be desired! Very much an IOS (,or Google) device, requiring the appropriate border router. With Alexa, they are an absolute PITA. They drop off multiple times per day, the border router (Echo in ours) ,and devices they use as a switch to it, have to be restarted at LEAST daily . NONE of the features advertised work with Alexa, as the Eve home app is useless, it just does NOT work with Alexa! So, you can set temp (if it connects), and set a routine (in the unlikely event it connects at the time). Hopefully, once the Alexa compatible Eve app is released, then the other features, tracking etc will be available (if it connects)!

Works just fine, and saves my utility bills!
A gadget that works. For me I use it stand alone. it replaced a (perfectly good) mechanical thermostatic radiator value [which looked like a Danfoss RAS-C²]. Fitting did not involve turning the water off or anything, just taking the old value off (which took a bit of googling, and was a bit stiff!), then fitting the batteries and fitting the new one (easy), and doing the app (easy). Since then (three months so far) it has worked perfectly. Still on original batteries. It saves heating the living room when no-one is there. I estimate it has already paid for itself by now (three winter/spring months), would pay back faster now with bills going up. Reccomended: I am planning to get addiitonal valves in the autumn (only as I turn the heating off in the summer months!).

Eve Thermo Control doesn't really control...
The radiator controls work well enough, but the Thermo Control, which is supposed to bring *Control* does very little beyond some scheduling. It displays target temperature, and current temperature, but even when ABOVE target temperature it doesn't lock down the radiator controls and the room can overheat. You HAVE to set the offsets on the radiator controls to get the control you wanted and so why even bother with the Thermo Control? If you set the offsets wrong, Thermo Control does nothing to help, ie it doesn't boost or cut heat. You end up chasing your tail with the radiator controls. Connectivity is patchy. One of my Thermo controls keeps dropping connection and is tough to get back online. If the devices lose connections the scheduling can fail and you find cold rooms in the morning. So, an expensive paper weight at present. I hope EVE can update firmware at some point and make the Thermo Control work in the way expected, but until then cannot recommend.
