Silipos 39559 Digital Cap, Ribbed Knit, Large/X-Large, Pack of 6

I have an unknown issue with my big toe where the tip hurts off and on. I was not able to find a pack of just extra large, all that I could find was a pack of small toes caps with maybe a.couple of extra large. I was happy to find these because I go through a couple or more a week and I have them on Subscribe and Save which is great because I don't have to be concerned about them running out.

I have been using the digital caps for protection for my thumb since I had surgery on my thumb months ago. Digital Protects my thumb, allows the scar tissue to heal and provides protection as part of My thumb is a bit numb. The digital Is very comfortable. I have been using them for months. Will continue to use.

They stay on, are comfortable to wear all day, last long as can be expected by similar products. Can still be worn after the gel has come off. As with similar products the gel never stays very long, like similar products the gel comes off and that is why I gave it a 4*.

During recent visit Mom's Dr. provided the medium size caps to relieve the pressure on her "miss aligned" toes, she got instant relief after years of suffering--but no extras just instructions to hit the internet for replacements and larger options.. Very easy to install just roll on to toes like a sock with stretch to fit diameter..The inside gel is thick enough to cushion and sticky enough to keep in place with no added tape. I thought about buying the much cheaper "sleeve" versions and sewing the ends but would only add possible irritation at seam. These caps are pre-molded to cover end of toe with no "bump" and long enough to cut to fit most big toe lengths.. As noted they do clean via hand washing and I recommend "rotating" position each day as as areas of the gel do thin if kept in same pressure place/points--thus getter more uses per cap. Just FYI I spent days researching options and only found two brands available as caps in personal quantities not hospital bulk. Little shocked at the price but when mom puts them on and sighs with relief they are well worth every penny.

At first I prescribed a product from another company. But they did not stretch, then I bought this product, it is a little more expensive, but absolutely successful, it fits perfectly on the big toe and is very comfortable.

Too spendy for the amount in package.
