I don’t think so. Didn’t try.

Can this be used with a MacBook as well as iPhone or is it solely for use with mobile devices?

It works perfectly from both my iPad and my standard laptop, so would expect it to work perfectly from Mac as well. The app downloaded successfully onto standard laptop running Microsoft365
