This book was great! Max Brand is a wonderful storyteller, a truly gifted author whose books will always be enjoyed by those who appreciate classic, timeless stories. I loved this story! Reading Brand's books always puts me in a good mood!

Max Brand novels continue to maintain their consistent pace throughout

I love westerns, and this one was okay, but I wouldn't read it again, as I do with others.It was kinda strange.

Max Brand is Daddy of ALL Westerns, and manages to keep the action so high that cover-to-cover is powered high. Verbiage is unequalled by other writers, and an estimated 800 books keeps me reading a lot. I love it.  The Whispering Outlaw (Leisure Western)

I have read many western novels and some of the plots I start see the direction it is going half way through. Not this book! It was a complete surprise. I believe this is the best book that Frederick Faust (aka Max Brand) ever wrote. I couldn't put it down.

It was hard to keep up with story, a lot of names and the reader did not do a good job.
