For the price you cant go wrong. Easy to assemble and install. One disappointment was the hour hand was scratched all along. You couldnt see that until you removed the protective film. Also there is a terrible off gas from the packaging and foam. Looks good once its up.

This is exactly what we envisioned by our fireplace in the living room! We needed a clock and how wonderful this turned out! Yes, the silver parts that stick onto the foam are extremely fragile (I cracked a couple), but you can’t tell. Just be super careful when sticking everything together. Also, when you’re leveling the numbers and sticking them in place on the wall, don’t press down too hard yet. Lightly stick them to the wall, make sure all is aligned (we had to fix a few numbers) then press down for a final stick. According to other reviews, the stick is pretty strong and will pull the paint off the wall. Overall, this is a successful purchase!

I ended up putting this up by myself (it would have been a lot easier with 2) but once I was able to get everything measured perfectly it was a walk in the park. I would suggest using a pencil to mark on the wall where you want everything to go and then once it’s time to put up the numbers (before peeling the back off to expose the adhesive) put a little piece of tape on the back to make sure it’s positioned where you want. The adhesive has an extreme grip and trying to peel the numbers off of the wall because you misplaced it is a task! Ask me how I know (lol). I love the way this looks on my wall and I definitely recommend it!

This looks awesome on my wall and I love that it is really quiet so you don't get the constant tick/tock you get with most wall mounted clocks. I can't even hear it sitting right beside it. I just cut it to fit the pieces of the numbers and letters and used it to stick them to the wall...the numbers haven't fallen off since I made the change.

1 The numbers are stickers. Seem pretty easy to put up but we need to wait in order to paint the room. 2 The mechanism seems pretty simple and seems to be working alright. We are currently using it without the numbers. 3 A “diy” clock like this should really have a good way to hang the middle piece on the wall. The directions simply say “hang it on the wall”. It very much needs to be hung by someone with tools and methods beyond what is provided with this product. I imagine I will get to a point where I hang it with several more hangers so that it will be more accurate as a clock.
