My 14 year old had 0 problems with this nifty little device. Wish it came in pink, but that little mistake aside it works beautifully to put eggs in my pink egg cooker.

This was a waste of money. I was all excited to replace my safety-pin method which was difficult. But this item was a real disappointment. The first egg would not activate the “poker” until I put enough pressure that the shell cracked. After that, another egg broke before the poker worked. So I just held the item with the poker exposed and tried to puncture the shells that way. Some worked, most didn’t go through the shells. Think I’ll just try. Push pin instead.

I lost the egg poker that came with the machine and ran across this. A needle wasn't working very well. It took a little practice to get the poking right but it works like a charm. No more exploded eggs!
