Very easy to install and brought my PlayStation Gold Headset back to life.
I've had my PlayStation Gold Headset (2014 model) for probably going on 10 years at this point and it has served me very well over the years. Recently however the headset suddenly stopped turning on, but the charging light was still lighting up and the blue power light would briefly flash when set to 2. It wouldn't even turn on when hooked up directly with a USB, which made my heart sink and I thought the headset finally kicked the bucket. I tried a few troubleshooting remedies I saw online to try to get it turning on again, but it was to no avail. I then saw that the battery was very easily replaceable and figured replacing it would be worth a shot a considering the battery was almost a decade old. The new battery quickly arrived and I had already opened up the headset in preparation. It's fairly simple, just remove the Right ear cuff, remove the screws and the right speaker will easily come off. After that you just have to pull the the battery out, which might be easier said than done depending on how well the adhesive sticker is still holding. I removed the speaker cable to get the speaker out of the way, gently pulled on the battery a few good times and it eventually came out. I then hooked the new battery up removed the adhesive sticker from the back of the old battery and put it on the back of the new one (not sure this is required, but I think it also might be thermal paste so figured it wouldn't hurt) and firmly pressed the new battery down into the battery holder. I plugged the speaker back in (I made sure to treat beforehand), put the cover back on and the headset was now good as new. So far I've had no issues with the new battery, but I will update my review if I run into any problems. I will also note that this battery does not required you to cut out any plastic from the inside of the headset, it fits inside perfectly and doesn't cause any kind of bulging.

Really easy replacement
It seems that some batteries come with the wires backwards (positive and negative switched), but this one came with the wires in the correct spots, and a basic level of charge. It's smaller, and it doesn't have the clips like the OEM battery so make sure that you use some double sided thick tape to secure it to the inside of the headphone.

Works well with PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset (all versions)
I bought this to increase the battery life I get when using the 2018 edition PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset. Installation is easy. You remove the right ear cup and use a phillips head screwdriver the size you'd find in your average eyeglass kit. Battery is actually smaller than the OEM. So far 16 hours before the PS4 console notified me battery was low. Took around 6 hours before I lost a bar of battery. I didn't let it run down the last time. Will allow it to run from full charge to dead to see how long it lasts. Definitely at least doubles battery life on my headset. Doesn't take much longer to charge up either.

Long lasting charge
I replaced the battery in my 2 year old Sony PS4 headset and I think I just got another 2 years of use out of it. The old battery used to die after about 3 hours of gaming. So every night I would have to charge this thing. Since I’ve replaced the battery, I can play 3-4 nights in a row without the battery needing to charge again. I think this replacement battery is actually lasting longer than the original battery did when it was brand new. Anyways, I’m very happy with this new battery and it was very easy to swap out.

Excellent battery choice!
I love it. My headphones broke 2 days after I installed it (from age) but I greatly regret not doing this sooner. I am planning to install batteries for my controllers as well

100% Compatible with PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset
Recover the life of your headphones with this battery, very easy to install, on YouTube you can find many tutorials, although basically you just have to unscrew the ear pad and remove about 4 screws and that's it.

Wonderful
From a full charge, it's a very discernable different from the stock battery. Couple days now of gaming and it's still yet to need a charge!
