Best Comfortable Arch Support
It is now FEB. 2026, meaning I've been wearing these almost daily for 4 years. They still help my high arch feet have no pain. They are incredible. Never had shoes so comfortable that provide the arch support I need. I've almost worn off the bottom tread from probably a 100 miles of walking.

Perfect for my feet!
I put these on as soon as they arrived. Just want to say "WOW" and "YUMMY". So soft and cushy. The heel and arch support are great and fits me perfect. I need to walk around a little more in the house and make sure they are comfortable, but as of the initial feel, I like them. I have real problems on my left foot with a ugly bunion, arthritis in my toes, bone spur on top of my foot and flat feet. I must have shoes that do not put pressure on the top of my foot as well as excellent arch support. I hope these hold up and continue to be comfy.

Comfy Shoes
These shoes are cute and very comfortable. The arch is just right and it keeps your heel a bit supported. Plantar faciitis doesn’t bother me with these. They are lightweight and the buckles provide any necessary adjustment. The one drawback is I have been wearing these for a week and the color is cracking in places- will probably flake off eventually. Others have mentioned this problem, but I hoped mine would be ok. They were around $25 on Amazon so I will keep them. In their catalog they are $60. That would be unacceptable for color-flaking sandals.

Color peels! So disappointed.
I was so excited to wear G-Defy sandals that I ignored the other reviews stating the color peels. I assumed maybe they wore their sandals hard or scratched them on something. Well I ordered 4 pairs, different colors and only received them a week ago. I have only wore these-gently used-did not run up against anything- for a very short time. Super comfortable and good looking but I was horrified yesterday when I saw the color peel! Looks horrible-I can’t wear them out anymore. I tried to return them but G-Defy only accepts them back in their original packaging-which I don’t have since I was so sure they were a keeper, that I threw the show boxes in my recycle bin last trash day. So now I have 4 pair and I am out of over $100 (they were on sale for $24-now I know why). I am sure the other three pair will peel too since these did after only short term use. I will not disregard the reviews ever again! I am surprised at G-defy putting out such poor quality. I wear their sneakers-have 4 pair-and they are top quality and have worn well. Definitely don’t buy these sandals.

Very good!
I think I'm really going to like this sandal. I got the blue ones and they are true to the color shown. The thing with these is that the arch support goes all the way across the center of the foot -- not that feeling of a golf ball only in the inner part of the sole so you don't feel like you're going to sprain an ankle. Also, it relieves the pressure on one's heel because even though you feel like you're walking normally, your heel does not press down firmly on the back of the sandal's sole which is a plus for people with plantar fasciitis...I can see where these would really help that. The sole is not rock hard and quite comfortable. I wear a size 7 shoe and size 7 in this sandal fits me very well. The straps do not crimp or press my little toe or the others against one another. I would recommend giving these a try; hoping they work out as well for everyone as they are for me. The are supposed to help the knees - Time will tell; my knees will let me know.

Difficult to walk in but comfy
These are comfy but difficult to walk in because of the cushioning.

Pain from Achilles Tendonitis has stopped!
I thought these shoes looked too large, but when I put them on and adjusted the straps they fit perfectly. I wore them 2 hours the first day and had no issues. The second day I just kept them on because they are amaziy ngly comfortable. I love them - I feel a big difference when I walk - I don't know how they do it, but my pain is gone. My only concern is that the bottom of the shoe will start to wear and get slippery. I will write another review in a month or so. At this point, even if the wear out I would just buy a new pair every 2 months or so because I feel like I am wearing a custom-made shoe. I wish these had a rubber sole, but I hope I'm wrong. It's like they were designed by brilliant scientists. I urge every to try these wonderful shoes out.

They work for folks with bunions
I have a few problems with my feet, especially a large bunion on my left foot and a smaller one on my right, therefore requiring me to get shoes wide enough to accommodate those nasties. During summer, I like to wear sandals but so many of them hit my bunions at the wrong point and either irritate the skin or leave them hanging out for all to see. I also have arthritis in my knees and like to have some cushioning in my shoes. These very casual sandals allow me to have the look and feel of sandals without feeling self conscious or hurting. I've had the aqua pair for 2 years, and I got the orange pair last year. They have held up pretty well, maybe some of the coloring getting a little rubbed off but I wear them around the house and in the yard. The newly purchased purple pair I save for actually leaving the house- they look fresh. Another positive is that they add an inch to my height, restoring me to 5'10", but in a subtle way; I look like I am wearing flats. Also, these sandals hose off easily and I have even tossed them into the wash (in a lingerie bag). My only negative comment is that they can make the soles of the feet sweat a little. But still, I am a satisfied return customer.

I’m not too keen on the colour but that’s because the black it wasn’t available in size 6. I’m really pleased with this footwear as they fit perfectly, they’re the right height and very comfortable indeed.

Wonderful for Plantar Fasciitis & Achilles Issues, BUT......the colour (on the Purple Pair) in the interior of the sandal, is all coming off & revealing the Black Colour underneath. Now, this is my 2nd pair in Purple, as the 1st pair did the same thing, so I sent them back & re-ordered the Purple again. However, it is now doing it again on the 2nd Purple pair after only 2 weeks, so I will have to decide whether or not to keep them anyway or send them back yet again. BUT, I must say, that because I have an injured Achilles Tendon & Plantar Fasciitis on one foot, that these are fantastic & I just don't want to take them off my feet!! But my options for another colour are limited as not all colours are available to either to ship to Canada (from Amazon.com) or very limited off of Amazon.ca. I can't speak about any other colour of the Gravity Defyer, but I DO love these Sandals as they work for what ails me. Too bad about the colour coming off, though, as these cost almost $80.00 Canadian, and I would expect them to last more than 2-3 weeks & not sure if I will be able to wear them out in Public if the colour keeps wearing off any further. FYI: Fit is as expected, though, & there is a slight 'learning curve' because of the way these are shaped, so be careful at first that you don't 'tip over' or stumble,. I hope you have better luck than I did with these very supportive sandals!~~~

Unfortunately, I don’t care for these sandals. They fit fine but I don’t like the feeling of the material the sole is made from on my feet 😕
