Make the fit better than new!
If you have a loose fitting OD bearing, you need this 680. It fills the least gap and when it dries, that bearing will not fallout! I had a gearbox on my mower that had a bearing spun and locked up. The heat made the casting oblong. After I cleaned up the surface the bearing fit loose. That is when Loctite 680 came to save the day! Make sure you keep from getting this stuff on anything but the OD of the bearing! When it dries it will take 500 degrees (F) to remove. It will hold like a new surface. Spend the money and this will save thousands of costs but gearcase replacements.

Used it for differential repairs. Worked great.

Works good for securing a bearing.
It really works well to secure a flange bearing in place after it’s allowed to cure for 24 hours.

Loctite Always A Good Brand
Works like it should; does what it's supposed to do. Locked my loose bearings in my housing. Good for securing other loose mechanical parts.

Works better than expected !!
This sets up in 15 min. used for a 1-7/16 blower shaft. Basically, set it and forget it...it cannot be adjusted after that. Very hard once set

I used this to temporarily fix a cv shaft in place on its stub axle as it no longer would hold snapped securely. It held secure for well over 6 months at which time I got around to doing the correct repair. It held so well I had to cut the assembly apart using an angle grinder. (I wasn't worried about saving the parts). I was impressed with its holding ability as this is an off label use.... but dang this stuff works good.

I have been using this product for a few years. I use it to hold inserts in pulleys. They hold up very well.

Of course it works well, it is Loctite! That said, it requires a clean surface. Use acetone to clean the surface before applying Loctite.
