Impressed!
This is a great introduction to automation and robotics. This robot arm was easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear and detailed. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. If you’re into robotics and you’re looking to have some fun then this is the kit for you. It has a good amount of torque, the programming is really easy and allows for quick setup and run. Very good customer support.

Cool but Directions are trash
Should be pretty cool if you can understand the directions. I would still buy it just know you will have to Google how to assemble and program it

Great customer service!
This robot was a birthday gift for my son with the intention of taking it to the county fair. Less than two weeks before the fair, two plastic pieces were broken (it is unclear to me how but not fault of vendor/manufacturer). I contacted customer service and they said they would send the parts. Since the parts would come from China, they wouldn’t arrive fast enough so they offered to send a kit from an Amazon warehouse and we agreed on price. They arrived in plenty of time to repair the robot. The build was not complicated but it took some finesse with holding parts and bolts/nuts. We have yet to figure out the programming.

Came with 6 servos, 2 do not work
Pdf manual, video and the product itself have a lot of inconsistencies. Not recommended for beginners, you'll have to figure out fixes for a lot of problems yourself. Okay for someone savvy with such tech.

Great product, even better customer service
This product was very fun to build and is super cool when it is all put together. The instructions were very easy to follow and do a good job of explaining what should go where. I did have an issue with the servo motors but when I contacted customer service, they responded super quickly and were very helpful. They wound up sending me 4 new motors in the matter of a couple of days which resolved my issue. Overall this is a great product for people who like putting stuff together and watching their creations work.

Non-Standard batteries; missing hardware
I thought this would be a fun project for my son and I. The concept is good. The implementation is poor. I'm about 1/3 of the way finished. There are video instructions online. The instructions do not match the hardware exactly. As an example, the video shows m2 screws and 11mm standoffs. There were no 11 mm standoffs and the screws were M2.5 (and the holes in the board are M2). As a result, I could not mount the board to the base. I ordered a separate brass hardware kit with M2 parts so I would have spares in case any other parts were missing. We continued after a couple of days, and then got to the point where we were ready to power it up. Come on Adeept. I know in the product description it does fairly say 18650 batteries need to be supplied. I should have read that carefully. So now instead of using the plethora of rechargeable AA batteries I have laying around the house, I now have to go and order some 18650 batteries to continue the project. The idea is pretty cool. The components are decent quality. But the hardware does not match the video and the component count is totally off. Use of non-standard batteries and missing hardware means I'm another $30 into the project or so to get it finished and operational. Not sure I recommend. Likely, I would buy a more expensive kit next time and hope it is more consistent than this product.

A fun kit, but not very strong.
This kit was really fun to put together. There are several control knobs for many degrees of movement. It is not a very strong grip however. It has a low limit of weight that it can pick up. It is educational for robotics. I bought it two years ago, and now it stopped working, it doesn't turn on anymore.
