Good product...but beware
Works good and really easy to install...however the flexible part of the drain was not needed. This kit comes with different pieces and for me, the p trap and wall extension was enough. So you have a normal sink in a normal position with a normal wall drain, you probably wont need the flexible part. Another thing is the seal it comes with for the bottom of the drain, did not work well on its own. It still was leaking after tightening. I had to use the original seal in addition to the new it came with. So when installing this new one, make sure to keep your old one just in case and if it's still usable. I wish I would have saved my money and just bought a normal p trap drain kit. Again, good product and easy to install.

Buy this, it works!
I've purchased this in the past at a local box store to fix my bathroom sink. Easy to install, worked like a charm. It's been holding strong for about a year now with no issues. I also used snappy trap fittings for a quick connect for my shopvac to a diy cyclone dust collector: 1x bucket w/lid, 1x $1.50 double insulated plastic cup w/lid from Walmart, and some super glue (what I had on-hand at the time. I followed up w JB Weld later just because), screws, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting; but it's an inexpensive project anyone could diy. The snappy trap fittings fit all my shopvac hoses, also regular vacuum hoses too. Plenty of videos on the internet about diy cyclone dust separators/ dust collector systems you should check out if you don't want your house covered in dust or even worse, breath in the dust or get it into your eyes (yes I use eye protection and wear a mask but somehow that dust would get to me like a magnet). Snappy trap fittings are smooth on the inside and prevent wood dust/sheetrock dust from clogging. Works great and saved me $ on expensive quick connect shopvac fittings. Also saved me $/time bc I was in a pinch and wanted to finish my dust collector ASAP. I used leftover parts from the bathroom sink project, which saved me time going to the store or waiting for parts in the mail. The second purchase on Amazon was to add a fitting to my shopvac and also to a couple sanders for quick connect capabilities to the dust cyclone hose. Also used some of the fittings to connect an additional hose to extend my reach sanding. I definitely recommend these fitting for plumbing and for quick connect capabilities on a shopvac, but as for using it to extent length/reach on shopvac hoses: I recommend to only do that in a pinch/temporary bc your shopvac will work better the less bends, curves, and fittings you have connected to it (there are acceptions to this depending on the hose, etc., but for best results, always do your own research). I do plan on purchasing a longer hose for the shopvac so I don't need to Frankenstein multiple hoses together from various vacuums (🙄😄🤣) but companies want you to pay ridiculous prices for even mid-quality shopvac hoses and I have more important priorities to spend money on, so that'll have to wait. Until then, the system I've got does the job just fine. (Although a better shopvac would be a nice bonus!) Sometimes my hands give me trouble gripping and tightening things; so if I can install the snappy trap system in a bathroom sink and other diy projects, I think it'd be easy as pie for most other people. Buy this. Buy it for your sink, or whatever diy projects it would go well with. You won't be disappointed

Awesom! One slight hitch but its plumbing what do you expect?
I love these this is the second one I've purchased and they're great! They go on quick and easy you don't need to cut anything which is huge for me, or have any special tools or glue. My first one I put on my kitchen sink in my basement and it's been great had it about a year now and absolutely no problems. The one in the basement kitchen is the double sink one. This one was for the basement bathroom. My wife wanted a new vanity with the remodel. So the old piping I couldn't just throw back in because the new vanity was bigger and moved to the right some. So I got a snapy trap and put it on. I did have one problem though. This one didn't just hook straight up like the last one did. In the bathroom there was a 1.5 inch pipe coming out of the wall then a reducer placed on it that then the old pipe slipped into and had the threaded compression junction. The snappy trap said it would just slide in there and I could use that same junction in the instructions but the hole was to small and there was no provided way to hook up to a smaller pipe. So I had to cut off that old compression junction/reducer thing and the kit came with the material to hook straight up to the bare drain pipe. So that's my only complaint with this. It is a great product and worked flawlessly and quickly in my kitchen and I still highly recommend it after a slight hitch when using it in my bathroom it was still 15 times easier than custom cutting and joining pipes to make it to the drains new awkward location.

Flex isn’t very flexible
Has a few different configurations that it can adapt to. The flexible part is Very stiff. My particular situation needed a 45 degree bend to the side and another downward. The flexible pipe was too stiff to make the bend without putting too much pressure on the other plumbing components when assembled. I ended up using PVC 45 degree elbows and pipe to get alignment. At that point the flexible pipe was now too long so ended up not using it. I did use most of the gaskets and nuts so it did save me there. If you have decent alignment between your tail piece and waste pipe, this will work just fine.

Recently repainted apartment and totally redid the bathroom. I found a new ceramic sink top on Kijiji for $50 and I needed to replace piping because my building is a mess and the old p drain is glued into the main pipe. I taped the existing pipe and used an angle grinder with a diamond blade to make the cut on the existing pipe. I used sand paper to sand the metal. This system worked amazing!!!! One day my superintendent was looking at me like he was going to kill me and when I told him parts were otw, he told me it was impossible and we needed a plumber. Later that day the parts arrived and I was able to install it in about 25 minutes. Though I didn't do it correctly first and needed to use the extender for the sink to bring it as high as possible. My superintendent was so shocked and impressed he asked me to forward the invoice to the building since its now saving them money, he thinks it won't break for years so this job is gooood to go! Thank you to this company as buying a universal p drain, measuring, cutting(a second time) and taping/clamping would have cost a few dollars more and I am happier with this as it can be disassembled in five minutes. Just make sure everything is tight with the clamps. And then give the bill to your super. The only bad thing is they don't provide tracking, but the guy who did the delivery was from Amazon I believe so it will come, mine came one day before expected delivery.

It was a bit complicated figuring what worked with what but I figured it all out. Saved my bacon!!!

Easy to install, flexible enough to adapt to non-optimal conditions 😀. It’s been in place for about a month, and no leaks.

The flexible hose isn't as easy to bend or shape as the description suggests. I tried to shorten it, but it was still only marginally easier to use it. Ultimately, I replied on the hard pieces to make it all work. The plastic threads that connect the various bit are not easy to work with in a tight space. They don't give you enough tactile feedback to be sure that you aren't cross threading the plastic nuts. An extra inch on the pipe that attaches to the tail pipe would have made it easier for me to put it all together.
