Great book!
I'm currently studying nutrition and I'm very interested in Sport Nutrition. This book, in my opinion, is very good and I'm a beginner! Very easy to understand, at least it's my opinion! I recommend this book!

Science is made accessible and practical, and amazingly well referenced
Very well organized, highly practical, and incredible overview of the scientific literature on each subject. There is an important and well-presented focus on how to avoid relative energy deficiency through creating a dynamic relationship between energy expended and consumed, resulting in an ideal eating pattern that varies widely between individual athletes, depending on when exercise takes place, its intensity, and its duration.

Incredible book on sports nutrition
Im a registered dietitian, sports medicine acupuncturist and avid Ironman triathlete myself. I’ve purchased the previous edition before and found it very helpful for myself and my patients. I was excited to purchase this updated edition and I’m sure I’ll reference it just as frequently.
