Burgers' Smokehouse Ultimate Bacon Sampler

I liked the quick service. This is the 3 time I’ve ordered the assorted pack. Bacon is a little more expensive than store bought but the quality is over the top. Real smoke not the liquid smoke crap all the store bought bacon uses. Also no preservatives. You pay more but it is top quality bacon.

I cooked this City Peppered Bacon TWO ways to see if either way was better. We followed the recommended way of frying it: start with a cold pan, turn the heat on low, and turn as needed. For the oven, we used a slightly raised cookie sheet, lined with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. We baked at 250 degrees F. As you can see in the pictures there was not much difference. I preferred the fry method taste and texture slightly better. We did this for a second pound, Maple Hickory Smoked Bacon and the results were the same. Since the second batch result was the same as the first, we will probably fry most from now on, but the oven method is a close second. We have tried two of the kinds of bacon we received, and both were delicious. From this experience, we plan to order again and enjoy more of the Burgers Smokehouse brand.

This is the second time we have ordered Burger's bacon. The shipping is included in the total price which makes selection very easy. We would highly recommend Burger's products especially when shipping to friends and relatives in the military.
