I have a small dog in a neighborhood full of big dogs, some of which the owners don't put on a leash. I often worry that one of these roaming monsters might be aggressive to my small dog or to myself so I got this spray to carry when I walk my dog. It's ideal to clip on the leash, being small enough to not be cumbersome, but having a handy clip so it snaps right on. Also, the manufacturer will replace your can for free if you every find yourself in a situation where you need the spray. That's a rare form of customer care and it makes me want to buy again and again from them.

As a trail runner, I'm in the woods running alone and thinking to myself "I should probably get some mace." When a nearby trail closed due to off leash aggressive dogs, that was my motivation. I love animals and pray I never have to use this, but if I need to, I can quickly grab it from my small front pocket snug in my hydration vest. I appreciate the twist lock lid because I totally would accidentally spray myself ha ha. I didn't use the camo key ring pouch as it was too bulky. Stupidly forgot to check the wind before testing it. Got a tiny bit in my nose and now it feels like I snorted a ghost pepper. Like the other reviewer said: "It works. Don't be like me."

I bought this for my son because he walks to the bus stop and we have some stray dogs around the neighborhood. I like that it is small enough for him to hold and easiest enough for him to figure out quickly. Makes me feel a lot better knowing he has this to protect his self.
