A Reasonable Beginner's Set
This product is overall of reasonable build quality. I just started working in a small engine repair shop and I wanted a set of tools for myself to use. The tools are not perfect by any means. The tools have small cosmetic defects and the socket fits are not 100% accurate (pretty close though). The plastic case that the sockets came in is VERY fragile, but is also very well organized. As long as you don't abuse the case it should serve you very well. Pros:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Affordable *Set is relatively complete *Socket Wrenches feel very solid *Sockets are well organized in case *Bit driver magnet is EXCELLENT *Backed by an Unconditional LIFETIME Warranty Cons:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Cosmetically imperfect *Case is flimsy *White rust formed over the first night I owned this set *Only one socket extension included, and its the shortest I have ever seen. *Hmmm... Not really too much else. Overall, A great set for beginners. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a set to learn with. I also love the fact that this set is covered by a lifetime warranty. I will come back and update this review if there are durability issues with this product. The white rust mentioned in the Cons section was only cosmetic. In time, it will rub off and the zinc will react properly with the air. I STRONGLY suggest that for the first few days you own this set you LEAVE THE CASE OPEN. Leaving the case open will allow the air to circulate around the sockets and form the correct chemical bonds with the zinc coating. P.S. !!! *** !!! The brand of tools that I received was NOT Wilmar. What was shipped to me was something called "Mechanics Products 'Mechanics Tool Set'". This was sent to me by the Amazon LLC. seller, so I don't know what you will receive if you order from another seller. P.P.S. As it turns out, "Mechanics Products" is actually a brand that Wilmar uses for some of their products.

Kit is a great value for the price
The tools have been great.. the only issue I might say, is the cheapness of the case. They don't stay in place inside the case and it is annoying when I open the case and something falls out.. the tools themselves tho are of a good quality and have held up well.. I would definitely buy again and these would be great as a gift for the at home mechanic for sure.

Decent for Basic Use, but Beware of Flimsy Quality
I purchased this is tool Set mainly because I needed an affordable variety of ratchet adapters. For the price, this set offers a decent range of tools that can handle light tasks. The sockets and adapters are useful for small, everyday jobs around the house or on my vehicle. However, the overall quality of the set is quite disappointing. The case is flimsy, which isn't a big deal for me, but more concerning is that the ratchet and some adapters seem poorly constructed. In my experience, one of the adapters broke almost immediately under minimal stress. This makes me question the reliability of the set for any critical work. If you need a cheap, temporary solution and won't be pushing the tools to their limits, this set could be acceptable. Just be prepared for possible breakages and the need to replace or upgrade sooner than you might like.

Wow this thing is junk
Given the low price on this item, you probably wouldn't be expecting anything too great. That said though, this thing is even junkier than what I expected. First, I'll start with the plastic case. Even when closed all the way and snapped shut, it doesn't stop the sockets from falling out of the holders within the case. So you organize it all nice just like how it's supposed to be, then you snap it shut and move it from point A to point B and when you reopen it, the sockets are all over the place. So, the case is junk. As for the wrench and sockets, they are junk too. You can tell how poorly made they are just by running your fingers over the material. Anyone who works with tools will right away be able to tell this is low quality stuff. Also, a few of the socket sizes aren't very well pressed into the socket itself. It's hit or miss how many sockets have this problem, but there's definitely a few of them in my set. At the end of the day, I bought this because it is small and easily fits in a "general purpose" tool bag that I like to keep that just has "the basics" included in the bag for simple projects. I have a significantly nicer socket set in my outdoor tool box that I would of course go to for the bigger projects.... So this thing technically fits my needs for just a small little socket set that easily fits a general purpose tool bag, but that said this is really cheap stuff. I wouldn't trust the wrench not to give out if you put too much torque on it and the overall quality as a whole leaves a lot to be desired. If you're looking for something small, easy and cheap to just have for "around the house" easy stuff than I suppose this is decent for that - but it is a low quality set and I would not trust it for anything beyond elementary level work.

It's *okay*
It's a very inexpensive socket set, and it feels that way. They're poorly organized, there's no sizes on the case and you can't see the size without pulling out the socket itself. The 1/4-3/8 adapter already sheared itself apart. The socket sizes are a bit less deep than most of the others I've used, which is good and bad.. nice for tight spaces, but if you need the adapter, that goes right out the window. The whole package is quite small, so easily carried, but the sockets aren't secured at all and will fall out and you'll open it up to a mess more often than not. Not the biggest fan.. very mediocre.. it worked, but it's just not nice to use. Feels cheap in every way.. just not that great... But again, it worked, and there are a lot of sockets for the price. If you don't need sockets for big projects and only use them occasionally, it'll probably be fine, but if you use these more than occasionally, you'll probably want to look elsewhere.

I got it for less than half the price. And for that price its worth it. Useful when u have to take apart mechanical stuff but I woudnt put strain on the sockets. The ratchet is not solid but will work fine, again wouldnt put strain on that either. *I gave it 4 stars for price to quality rating*.

Great for working on my bikes. Metric for all bikes and imperial measure for my Harley.
