Unfaithful

Extramarital affairs have the potential to become addictive with devastating consequences. Such was Connie's experience. When in the throes of ecstasy all those consequences are cast aside. When at last reality strikes home there is tsunami of regret. Gere and Lane--especially Lane-- give so amazing performances. The anguish of regret that darkens the lovely face of Lane is something to behold. This movie is a warning to all who are thinking of infidelity.

NICE MOVIE DIDN'T LIKE THE OPEN END

No one expects you to side with Connie nor does the film try to justify her infidelity. This is a very real and raw story of the consequences of the act. And how it can destroy the lives of everyone involved. Diane lane earned her nomination for an academy award and while Richard Gere was nominated that year for the film Chicago. He very much deserved the nomination and win for this film.

great actors sad at the end but a great film

Good movie, glad to have a digital copy of it. Diane Lane was great in this one.

Richard Gere and Diane Lane are the stereotypical suburban family, all's well until she meets a younger book collector in the city and it's downhill from there. You'll feel the husband's pain when he finds out she's been unfaithful. One of the best cheating wife movies to date.

The story line is not secret, however it is well presented, print quality of dvd is good, at the time of release it was one the controversial movie due to its subject, performance of lead actors are good, thoroughly engaging movie.

Noir erotico ambientato a New york,è secondo me il capolavoro di Adrian lyne e la migliore interpretazione di Diana lane ( non a caso le valse una nomination all'oscar ) con l'ex sexsymbol Richard Gere marito amorevole eppure tradito per il più giovane e bel"tenebroso"francese olivier Martinez.Assolutamente da avere : purtroppo c'è davvero molto da imparare.
