This results in a better oil for frying, but some nutritional elements have been destroyed. In this case, you may want to look for the term Organic. If it is simply labeled “refined”, or the method of refining is not listed, then heat and chemicals were used in the process. You’ll have to excuse the previous reviewer who may not understand health conscious choices in food.

Is this 100% peanut oil or like the other crap out there 90% soy bean oil with 10% peanut oil?

It obviously is not 100% peanut oil. It stayed clear in freezing temperature while 20-30% become opaque at bottom.

Great Peanut Oil for Big Fry Jobs

Picked up this gallon of Amazon Grocery peanut oil for deep-frying and it has been perfect for everything from wings to big batches of fries. The oil is light in color, neutral in flavor, and holds up well to higher frying temperatures without smoking too quickly, which is exactly what is wanted for repeat use in a fryer. The jug is easy to pour from and stores neatly in the pantry, and at $16.22 for a full gallon it feels like a very good value compared to grocery store brands. and will definitely be grabbing another jug when this one runs low.

Only One ingrediant. No crap

Excellent quality and taste. Great price for the size. SMells really good. In addition it does not have a chemical that is added to reduce the foam while frying. Very clean and only one ingrediant.

The best peanut oil in my opinion.

Do you have a deep fat fryer I highly recommend using peanut oil. Is a high smoke point and it tastes very good I do a lot of deep fat fried more than probably should but peanut oil is the way to go. I also love the price.

Awesome cooking and salad oil!!!!

Awesome cooking oil that is great for home cooking has a high heat condition. ! Really taste like peanut with good after taste. We used it once in place of olive oil on a salad, good! Good price and great quality. Only issue the plastic bottle arrive with multiples "hits", dents and sunken holes. Recommended oil!!

Very good oil with high smoking point

Since all seed oils have been proven unsafe and I never liked canola oil anyway, peanut oil is the way to go and olive oil. Peanut oil has a high smoking point and is the best for any type of frying or sautes. A very good buy from Amazon in the large size. There is no noticeable smell to peanut oil and will not impart any unpleasant taste to your food. Really like this oil.

Good value

Stocked up on these prior to Thanksgiving because the local grocers always sell out. It did a great job of frying turkeys. I don't have any means of testing the content of the oil but I trust that it is of peanut origin. Will buy again!

Cheap and does the job

I always cook with peanut oil and I'm too lazy to go to one of our Chinatowns to buy the proper one. This one works, I'll keep buying it. Unless I'm in Chinatown.
