Essential Skiing Accessory - Highly Recommended!
I recently purchased the Doormoon Phone Tether with Patch for skiing, and I am thrilled with its performance. Here's why I gave it five stars: Perfect Skiing Companion: This phone tether is an absolute game-changer for skiing. It provides a secure way to keep my phone with me on the slopes without worrying about it getting lost or damaged. I can focus on enjoying the powder without constantly checking my pockets. Secure and Reliable: The anchors can be adhered to your phone or phone case. Convenient Design: I like the convenience of the clips, which are easy to use but also offer an additional layer of security. Removing my phone from the tether at the end of the day is a breeze, allowing for quick and hassle-free access when needed. Versatile and Durable: While I prefer to place the anchor directly in my phone case without sticking it, I've found that it works just as well when adhered to the phone itself. The versatility of this product is impressive, and its durability gives me confidence that it will withstand the rigors of skiing season after season. Highly Recommended: I was so impressed with the performance of the Doormoon Phone Tether that I bought a second one for my wife. It has quickly become an essential accessory for both of us during our skiing outings. If you're looking for a reliable and secure way to keep your phone safe while skiing, look no further than this fantastic product. Highly recommended!

PERFECT solution for all the cases without handles/straps/clips!!!
First off, let me say I do NOT use the squiggly cable it comes with. I attach my own handle or use a cabiner(sp?) clip. I use the black silk part that goes in the case with the little ring that hangs out the bottom of the case. It does look kinda flimsy. BUT IT IS NOT!!!! I've had it since about February, and it is now the end of July. Now, I do not primarily carry my phone by the strap, but use it as a back-up so that if I lose my grip, the phone won't fall to the pavement and break. But I have "dropped" my phone many times, and nothing bad has happened -- the strap or clip I'm using has held it perfectly. (I use the clip to attach it to my purse strap when continually taking pictures -- so I'll be holding it in my hand for a LONG time, and having it tethered to my purse won't be an issue.) The black silk "inside" part basically stays in place. The ONLY problem I've had is when I pull on the cord to unplug my phone and, like an idiot, have pulled on the metal loop as well. AND -- this is a testament to how sturdy the product is! -- in that instance I have been UNABLE to unplug my phone! When I've realised my mistake and unplugged the phone, sometimes, if I've yanked REALLY hard, the black square has moved down a bit. But it has NEVER come out (or anything making me feel it could/would, or would otherwise be "unsafe" to use). In these instances, I've turned the phone case upside down, and - as it's a silicon case -- gently squeezed the sides near the top and guided the silk back down a bit by pushing the ring in. Which would make you think it moves around a lot; but it magically doesn't! The ring itself is also awesome because it's like a circle-shaped clip. It's really really hard to push open, so it WILL NOT accidentally open on you. But it isn't an IMPOSSIBLE thing like a regular serpentine key chain, so you CAN, if you wanted to, attached to a SOLID circle strap. This makes it SUPER versatile for using your own strap because you can use a strap that itself can open and attach OR one that does not. Before this I have hole-punched holes into cases, but with varying phone designs and case designs, that isn't so practical. THIS is awesome and I can see it working for cases and phones to come!!!! I use a case that has 3 openings in the bottom, not one that just wraps around the back of the phone. I do not think it would work too well (or really at all) with one that just "hugs" the phone back. The metal loop comes out the middle hole in the bottom of my case that is otherwise there for allowing a cord to plug in to charge my iPhone X. It does NOT interfere with plugging/unplugging the cable. It does NOT interfere with putting it on a charging pad to charge. This ONLY adds a piece of black silk like material (just like a woman's slip) to a tiny portion near the bottom of your phone on the back. Also, since it's not hard plastic or anything like that, it DOES fit without problems into cases. (Just remember that if your case uses a see-through back, you'll be able to see the black square too.) I was skeptical to try this since it look like the materials would unravel and, if it really worked, why would they send two?, but am sooooooooo I happy I tried it! It is EXACTLY what I needed and I'm sure will outlast my phone (let alone the case)!

Worked Great!
I bought this for my teen for an international trip, and it worked like a charm. For someone with a habit of setting their phone down and walking away, dropping it, or generally not keeping tabs on their phone, this is a great item.

Perfect
This product is exactly what I needed to keep my work phone secure while still being able to use it freely. I had a bad habit of sitting it down and not remembering where in my work space I left it.

Simple and Smart
Brilliant. It’s a simple but effective idea. My previous phone was stolen due to my bad habit of putting it down and walking away. This lanyard is training me to be attentive. I clip it to my handbag and the stretchy lanyard is a simple reminder to pit it back neatly in the handbag.

Great way to secure a phone
I purchased this tether for my phone for a trip to Paris. The stretchy cord is long enough that I could attach it to the pen holder in my crossbody purse & take it out to snap photos or use my phone without detaching it. Really worthwhile purchase if you are concerned about pickpockets or theft, or just putting your phone down & forgetting it. I would highly recommend.

Good idea but ...
So, conceptually this is a really good idea. There's a slim piece that you place between your phone and the case that provides a loop that goes out through the hole where normally you would insert the Lightning plug to charge up your phone. Then there's a cable that connects to the loop that has a clip that connects to, say, your bag. In this manner, the phone is firmly connected to the bag and theoretically impossible to lose. The one problem I can into is that loop is thick enough that it prevents a Lightning plug from going in a connecting to the phone so each time I charge up my phone, I have to take it out of the case. This is rather a hassle. Secondarily, I had hoped that the cable would be strong enough so that if some tried to steal the phone, the cable would prevent that. While I haven't tried it, it sure seems like this isn't the case. OK. Not part of the original design. I can accept that. But the first concern, making it impossible to charge up my phone while it is in the case is a non-starter.

This product is not fit for purpose. One end of the lead came out of its anchor point moments after being unwrapped. It couldn't be used or repaired due to its poor design. I don't recommend purchasing this item. A waste of money.

With phones being mostly waterproof now, we wanted a solution that would tether thr phone to our person. I liked the idea of not having to get a new case to be able to have this peace of mind. If you have a phone case that has a port cutout for the charger this will work for you. We inserted it it in the case and it held no issue without using the adhesive. Since we were going on a big back country trip we elected to affix this to the phone for the added security. The clasps look reasonable but may become a point of failure due to design and materials. Especially with exposure to moisture, so I might swap that out with a carabiner or key ring. Otherwise it has been great and worked well.
