They fit! Woo-hoo!
It's always good to have some extra lens caps around. I did some careful research and got the right size, so they fit my Sony AX700 and AX100 perfectly. I wish there were a way to keep them handy when NOT on the camera, without having to loop some cord around the lens or have the cap dangle (in the way) from the camera. I might seek out a stick-on dangle cord anyway, just so I don't lose these as easily as their predecessors.

Perfect fit on Sony FRD AX700 camcorder
There was only one other review that mentioned this fits the Handycam FDR AX700 so I wanted to confirm that this is the one to get. There is no hole to loop a string through, so you'll have to keep it in a pocket while shooting.

Great lens cap replacement
My brother lost his Sony lens cap so i got this as a replacment. He was thankful and has not complained about it being useless. Great buy and deal. I would buy again if he loses this one hahaha

Great item.
Bought an open box lens from best buy, but missing a lens cap. Glad to have found one here. It perfectly fits and looks great. Not sure if it’s an OEM, but it does look like one to me.

I bought this one which seems exactly like the one I lost
I bought a brand new FDR-AX100 and the next day during my first shoot I lost the lens cap cover. I bought this one which seems exactly like the one I lost. But that is not all. The next day when I was getting a TWIX candy bar out of the vending machine it emptied the entire row which had 8 TWIX candy bars in it. I ate them all within the next hour and even though I felt a little sick I was very happy with the luck this Sony 62mm Front Lens Cap has brought me. I have no doubt that if I lose this one and buy another one that it will happen again.

Vendor is good . Regular cap, not different than original. Unfortunately original design is not that good. You would expect better from Sony or what it used to be Konica Minolta. I keep changing these lens cups every 2-3 years.
