Great for practicing/learning how to shoot a crossbow.
Bought these, as a new crossbow shooter, to learn and practice with. Didn’t want to start off with my higher dollar bolts. Good thing too!! During sight-in I Robinhooded one. Straight through the nock and split half the shaft. A friend missed the target completely and hit a boulder shattering another bolt. That’s 2 of 12 down. All 12 costing the same as just 1 of my good bolts. Doing a roll test the straightness seems close enough for government work. I’m not currently feeling OCD enough to break out the rollers and dial indicator. So far the nocks and inserts seem secure. Fletchings were slightly curved from the tight packing, but a quick ironing straightened them out. Tips are just cheap field points, but weight is consistent. Bolt weights did vary though. With points on most ranged between 398gn and 405gn with only one being 415gn. Not too shabby for practice.

3 stars for now - i will update if i change my mind
I just got 2 dozen of these in today. They were about $30/dozen, which is a really good price. I have recently purchased 4 different brands of crossbow bolts, so please don't take it personally if you are the seller / manufacturer. I will be critiquing all 4 brands. These bolts have the weights all over the place just like the other 3 brands. Lightest weight was 406 grains and highest weight was 431 grains (!) out of 24 bolts. That's a pretty big swing, but all of these cheaper brands are like that with Pandarus being the most consistent weights in the 420-425 grain range full-up. I weighed all the points, bolts, and nocks (as applicable) with an weigh gram (formerly AWS) TOP-100 digital scale. It measures within 2/10 of 1 grain, and I think it does a good enough job for about $10 off Amazon. Out of 24 bolts, 10 of these have curled vanes. So, I'm gonna try the boiling water trick, the lighter trick, or the hairdryer trick to try to get these vanes to straighten back out. They were shipped in the worst box of all the brands. The box is about 3 x 2 inches and has a dozen bolts jammed into it. The field points that are included are decent, and the weights are surprisingly close--about 1 grain +/- of 100 grains. I shoot 100 grain broadheads, so I was happy about that. Some of the bolts come with 125 grain field points. These nocks on the 2 dozen I got are glued in place (permanently?) so much that I could not remove any of them with a pair of pliers. I like to use lighted nocks, but I'm not going to risk cracking a nock or the carbon shaft. So, I guess I just bought 2 dozen practice bolts or I can hunt with them without lighted nocks. So ya get what you pay for. I suspect these will shoot just like the other brands. If there are any significant changes to how I feel about these, I'll update my review. 3 stars for now.
