Perfect! I bought these for our home classroom, they are very sturdy, good print, size is accurate, easy to use dry erase markers on if/when needed AND they're double sided as shown in pics! I didnt realize that when ordering, buy it's nice bc you could use one side to dry erase & have kids fill in countries/states as a "quiz" after they get familiar with the other side. Also easy to put on/take off wall with sticky tack if you're a teacher. I had just opened them (they come rolled of course) so I had to hold them down, but they also came with instructions/options on how to flatten them (like using a towel & iron on low or roll the opposite way, use hairdryer, etc) which was nice. In comparison, I ordered another (12pk) of posters for other things for kindergarten from a different seller, they were supposed to be laminated like these but are not the same quality, theyre sturdy & shiny but not laminated for writing on. Wish I had found those others from this seller/company instead. Highly recommend!

The manufacturing on these three maps is excellent. I used to buy printing for a living and these are very well done. These are for my 3 grand kids. When I leave this earth I don't want to leave behind three little stupids who don't know anything about the amazing earth and solar system they inhabit. Only minor problem was that the hand-written country names on the world map should have been typeset for easier readability. Also the world map itself could have been a little bigger so that the type for the crowded countries in Europe wouldn't be forced to be so small. I know this can be a problem when your image placement on the press sheet has been set for some time and could result in having to go to a larger sheet size and possibly a larger press. Oh, and I appreciated the nice touch of the sheet on unraveling to get rid of the curl from shipping.

Both maps are easy to read. The posters are generally good quality. My only thought is that the world map has some incorrect proportions. It is hard to get a fully correct proportionate map of a globe so it’s not that big of a deal for most people. And kids probably won’t care if the Russian continent is way too big or if any other continent is the wrong size. But over all the purchase was a good place to start for teaching my kids about the universe and world maps.

Although I purchase laminated and non-laminated, these were perfectly laminated. They are double-sided, so that was cute for the kids. Because I already have a larger one with more detailing, I noticed that this one appealed to my 6yr old immediately. Good bright colors and decent sized lettering, as long as it is placed conveniently at eye-level. Not much detailing on but what is on it is good for my family and perfect for my 1st grader. Now my daughter has her own maps just like her big brothers. They came quick and nicely packed. Instructions for ease of unrolling and straightening are included and clearcut. Overall, good purchase, but I would recommend for smaller children.

I wanted a U.S. map and a world map that weren’t overly detailed or too large. These are perfect. I will be using them for my father’s 90th birthday reception. I will put star stickers on the states and countries where he has lived and traveled to during his long life. The description said they were laminated but I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality. Not flimsy at all. I had no need for the solar system chart (donated it) but it was of the same quality as well.

great maps for kids to learn

I bought this set for my grandkids and I couldn’t even hang it on the wall fast enough before they were engaged! They were staring, pointing and asking questions for the rest of the day! The info on the world map is somewhat accurate. The US map and solar system posters are accurate as well. I also like that they are double-sided. The pic of Einstein and his quote was a nice unexpected touch. Great buy! Even my teenager wants a set!
