Round Push Down Ashtray with Spinning Tray Black -A32

I take this little ashtray when I'm traveling to see non smoking family and friends. It's just the right size to carry with you. When you depress the button in the middle, it kind of swirls and opens and your cigarette goes into the bottom. No more half put out smoking cigarettes. It is very easy to clean. I have left this one at my daughter's house for when I am there and bought another one to take on other trips.

UPDATE/EDIT: (almost 2 years later... ) "Finally went kaput!! Got lazy and built up a bunch of ash/crud that hardened which took more effort to try and scrub/wipe off and in pressing down on the lid it broke off the spinner which if I was a complete miser I might have fixed with some skillful soldering but c'mon.. $12 bucks for 2 years? Looks like others had theirs break a lot faster but I'm going to order another one and even if it only lasts half as long, that still makes it 1 year and a bargain in my book" *************** ORIGINAL REVIEW: My previous ash-tray was one of those "butt begone" types, the thick plastic ones that look like a cup with an ashtray for the lid with a hole that cigarette butts are "supposed" to go into. Problem is they never really did so I would have butts and ashes piling up and then inevitably I'd knock it over spilling ash all over the place or ashes would spill out of the top lid and onto my desk. That is no longer the case since I replaced it with this one. It's got a nice size and weight to it and the spinning action is great. I've been using it for 3 days now and I've not yet had to empty it. Probably have gone through 3 to 4 packs and this thing has just sucked up the butts, ashes and all into it's vortex and I hardly have any ashes on my desk. The chrome top locks into place by pushing down and twisting it to the left so if you ever knock this off your desk it won't come open. The top surface does get a bit ratty after awhile with ash residue, but hey - it's an ashtray what did you expect? Just wipe the sucker off periodically and you'll be fine. Extremely satisfied with my purchase and would have been even if I had to pay shipping and the item cost twice as much as I paid for it.

We needed to get a new ashtray for when we had company over and I like to enjoy a cigarette when we have guests over that smoke. When I came across this ashtray, it reminded me of the one my mother used to have many years ago so, I decided to purchase it. The bottom part of the ashtray is a nice black matte finish and the top is silver. The spinner spins great and the cigarette butts get into the tray without a problem. The design of the top is a bit awkward because it has a space for 3 cigarette indents but you cannot fit the cigarette on top. The only way to place a cigarette is by laying it sideways on the ashtray. This only allows for 2 cigarettes to be placed on the ashtray, if you were to set them down. Since this ashtray is small I have kept it for myself and will be getting a bigger one for guests. It still works great getting the cigarette butts inside when you spin the top. I really like that because it keeps them out of sight until the ashtray is emptied. Great look just not big enough for company.

Too small. When you lay your cig butt on it and push to spin (taking it into the container and extinguishing it), the butt won't go down unless you smoke it all the way down to the end and stun it out, and sometimes even then I have to push several times to get it down, and sometimes have to take the top off, defeating the purpose of this spinner ash tray. It's not a design flaw, and it's a really nice little device, but getting this small size is annoying with the special treatment of how to get your butts in there. It also holds only a few butts before it can't spin anymore. Just get a larger one and you'll have a 5 star spinner ash tray!

Works exactly as advertised. My housemate smokes outside the garage when it's raining, and puts his butts in a can by the door. So the garage smells of the smoke that comes in along with the ashtray sitting in 90+ degree heat in the garage. Guests were commenting that my garage was stinking pretty bad some days. Replaced his ashtray with this one and - bam! - the odor is gone. It still stinks a bit after he smokes but that goes away. The stinky ashtray problem has been solved perfectly by this. It's the size most would expect. The standard ashtray holds fewer butts than this does, and the mechanism has been smooth and precise. I may have to lube it up at some point, but out-of-the-box it's great! Cleaning is a breeze: lift the top, dump the butts, wipe with a damp paper towel and get on with your life!

I own the newer version of this A-33 and love it so I thought I would get this smaller one for my brother. It was packaged poorly and looks cheap. The spinner does not work well either. The one I own the spinner works really well and looks nicer and is made of a thicker metal. The few dollars more I paid for the newer one were well worth it. I returned this one right away.

Not only am I COMPLETELY IN LOVE with this but so is my son even my DOG!!!!! The #1 Pro is that I NO LONGER HAVE SINUS ISSUES and somehow I'm not coughing as I was before I got this! I saw one person said it holds up to a pack......well i beg to differ! If you smoke your entire cigg (or whatever you're smoking) it can hold up to 3 and a half to 4 packs!!! I do agree its a little hard to twist it back on but thats also good thing bc if it falls you wont have butts and ashes everywhere. Oh one MAJOR con is if you're neat about where you flick your ashes, you're gonna have to get over it, lol. And the 3 indented "cigg holders" are not useful. If you want it to hold your cigg, just put it on top of it, lol OHHHH i almost forgot the spinning action is way too cool!!!!!! If the indentations for a cigg weren't there youd never know it was an ashtray

Great when it works, but the first one fell apart after 2 weeks. Second one is still going, but for how long.
