After reading the reviews, I ordered a set and am totally happy with them. They were easy to install and the brightness is great. I did take the advice of others and painted the metal components so they won't rust. They definitely are not spot lights however, give real good light along the side walkway. The reason I originally ordered them was to give accent lighting from the eves of the house, and totally love the look. The pictures shown with the product are very accurate. I enjoyed them so much that I ordered another set to add more lightning. Unfortunately, this time there were two sets of screws missing, I have two lights unusable at this point and no information in the packaging for me to contact the manufacture. I don't know about the longevity yet as I have only had them about a month however, during this time of the year anyway they stay lit all night long. I'm interested to see how they will remain lit during the winter months here in the Pacific Northwest. UPDATE: I was contacted by the company within 1 day and have new packets coming.

I have to admit i was amazed at the quality of these lightweight solar lights. Ive spent , i dont know how much lighting my small enclosed patio, from absolute garbage, to pricy heavy glass, and these check just about all my boxes. The solar cell is encapsulated in clear poured acrylic, completely sealing the top. The "eye" for it to turn on at dusk is A: inside the transluscent cover, or, B: senses a voltage threshold, and turns the light on, either way, it is one less opening to seal. the on/off swith, battery compartment, and l.e.d.'s are recessed up into the cover a bit making them water resistant as well. These lights took 3.5 inches of hard rain over a day and a half here 2 days after i got them and there stll fine and dry. They are suprizingly bright, and long lasting on the charge. I cant really say anything bad about them so far, there lightweight, and simple to install, like i said, im impressed at the thought that went into these light, i plan to purchase more for whenever/whatever may come along. Tips: I immediatly replaced the aa rechargable batteries with Amazon high capacity rechagables, the dark battery wrap ones, and they stay lit all night, 8p.m. to what, about 6-6:30 a.m. I also put a circular sticker over the battery compartment release due to it allowing access the inside (bugs will get in that way, they have in all my solar light eventually) As always, i spend my own hard earned money on the items i purchase, and review. You cant go wrong with these lights!

I really like these lights. The light is a nice soft light, not too bright, but very pleasant. Reminds me of the light from a full moon. I found them easy to install on my gutters, it only took a few minutes per light to install after assembling. Just make sure where you mount them they will have enough sunshine over the course of the day to charge the batteries. I gave the lights 4 stars for the overall rating because the mounting brackets are not painted, and some of the other reviewers stated that the brackets have a tendency to rust over time. To avoid the rusting issues and to improve the appearance, I painted all the brackets with a white satin outdoor spray paint before I assembled the mounting brackets. I installed 12 of them around my house for aesthetics and for added security. I will be buying 6 more to fill in some of the dark corners and to light up the door to my garden shed. The benefits of solar lights are; they don't cost any money to run all night, and even if the power goes out the outside of my home will be well lit. Time will tell how well these lights will stand up to wind and weather, but as for now I do like these lights.

I'm a huge fan of solar lights because you don't have to run any wires and they are usually easy to install. The only problem sometimes is not knowing the quality of the lights you are buying. I searched around Amazon and found these for a good price with really good reviews. The brackets are pretty easy to configure for a gutter mount or you can just screw them directly into a wall or fence. They are fairly bright for accent lighting or just to light up a dark area but not bright enough to be a task light. I really like them and would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of light. Attached is a photo of the lights mounted on the gutter lighting up the front of our house.

I ordered these with a little trepidation as I have been disappointed with solar lights in the past. These however are a totally different thing. I have fitted four lights on my garage gutter and they light up the area superbly. I am in the process of painting an arbor where I intend to fit the remaining two. I am really impressed with these lights.

Love them, Love the look. Cannot wait to put them up. But I have had them charging and the lights have come on and they look very pretty. When I put them up, I will add a photo so you can sse. They are not as bright as I expected. But overall impressed.

We loved the lights, bought another batch. What we liked was that we have the option of not screwing them in the wood. That way they can be moved around. They look very cool, and are just right for our backyard.

only got it for afew weeks. So far so good. All works. 100lumens abit dim i find. Not sure if the material will last the aussie sun. quite easy to install. I think all in all my main gripe is that it is all abit dim. Would be better twice the brightness 200 lumens.
