It fit 2007 Escalade 6.2L Rear Main Seal
Product comes with the seal installed. Careful installation allows it to work properly. With the crankshaft cleaned very well, no rust or sharp edges you slip the new seal in place dry and clean. No Oil or grease because this is a teflon seal. Once fully in place by hand start all the upper bolts and then install the lower pan two long bolts leaving all bolts loose. Slowly tighten the upper bolts working around the seal area first, letting the seal be put in place centered on the crankshaft so you get long life. Now torque the upper bolts first and finish by tightening the lower bolts and torqueing them. You read of lots of guys saying this does not work and leaks. They installed it wrong in most cases. IF you tighten the lower 2 long bolts first the seal will egg shape on the crankshaft and leak. If you don't tighten the upper bolts slowly working your way around the seal and gradually bringing the entire plate tight against the block you will cause issues and maybe even break the new plate. Follow procedure and it works.
